Just in case you don't take the time to read my post, but might here: Deej - I'm here to answer questions. Prove it!
So this patch is absolutely worthless! So disappointed in the developers at Bungie. All style, no substance.
Exotics:
So we have to buy an upgrade from Xur to max out an exotic? How is this an improvement? Oh, I forgot we can just dismantle unwanted exotics, this is a joke since exotics are near impossible to get unless you buy from Xur, so again how is this an improvement? Exotics are stupid for the most part anyway, most legendaries are better.
Yay, you buffed and nerfed some weapons based on people complaining on the forums! Do you not the read the complaints about all the other issues you have in this game? Screw the exotics and buffs/nerfs. What we really need is you to address is the raid! Oh yes, you did!
The raid patches are AWESOME! You fixed Atheon teleporting the wrong number of people. YAY! I will believe this when I see it. How about ALL the other problems with the raid? The regenerating health/shield Paerorian on Venus portal. Did you fix that? Nope! Hard mode players who get teleported and are in a detention bubble. Did you fix that? Nope! Relic shield bubble that allows players to still die inside of the protection. Did you fix that? Nope! The incredibly broken loot system that provides you with nothing but Chatterwhite or materials for beating your toughest challenge. Did you address that? Nope! You addressed nothing important, but “fix” the Templar so he can’t be pushed, so a two minute fight has increased to be a five minute pointless fight. Good job! You are really pushing the envelope now! Groundbreaking!
You got my money upfront for the expansion/dlc, so shame on me, but how many people will still support this game in the future when you won’t fix legitimate issues in this game? I love Destiny! I have given it over 700 hours of time, but that doesn’t change the fact that you need to fix these issues. These are just the ones you “addressed” in this patch, but doesn’t include the multitude of other issues that the community brings to your attention. For example, what about the fact that you can receive less of a reward from the nightfall strike than you can from the weekly strike (i.e. 5 or 7 strange coins as compared to 9 from weekly), what about grimoire cards that won’t unlock, what about the option for matchmaking for the raid (personally, I don’t like this, but your customers want it), what about the fact that there is no real purpose to mess with the vendors because they sell nothing of consequence (I mean really, the Cryptarch sells only white and green engrams??? WTF? How does anyone over level 12 need to buy anything from him?) Make the vendors relevant even if it cost something outrageous!
You have the framework for the greatest game ever, but you are squandering it away by not fixing the real problems in the game. The raid should be the thing that makes this game memorable, but you are patching exploits and not fixing actual problems. If someone wants cheese let them have it! How does it hurt anyone? I don’t care one way or the other, personally I like a fight! I have no Mythoclast or helmet because I didn’t do the hard mode cheese. I want to earn it, but that doesn’t mean it is the most pressing issue you need to fix. Your Templar “patch” will most likely result in more glitches to that boss battle. So “fixing” one will only create more. Not to mention, someone will figure out another way. They always do. Crota’s End will have exploits and glitches because you will not have put in the time for them either. You are to busy buffing/nerfing things to appease the masses, but you need to fix legitimate problems. I am sure I am a dog howling in the wind, but if more people would howl about real problems and less about nerf this and buff this, we might actually have an amazing game.
Ok, community, give your hate because we know it is what you do best, but I wrote this to try and get us a better gaming experience, not as a whine. I love Destiny! I want it to be the best it can be, hopefully you do as well and we speak up for real change and not nerfs/buffs. Peace.

Dude everything I want had been summed up into one post by you. Thank you this post is spot on everything that is missing and wrong with the nerfs/buffs and the problem with Xür. I always disliked him and in PvP I wreck kids with legendaries and the occasional patience and time but the only two things that I think is broken In PvP is Axian bolt and how the khostov ( begging weapon) can almost beat a suros regime in a fight. But besides that good post
-
cmon deej ,answer this question .... xD
-
Way too many 12 year old kids on this forum. I think your comment was spot on, too many people whining nerf this buff that because they get rekked with a certain weapon in iron banner. How about we concentrate on the things to make the game better like you say. Obviously your gonna get hate from the immature 12 year olds but great post mate.
-
You just have to give it time, they can't update everything at once, it will always be a work in progress, ignore the people who call you retarded because you do have the right to complain, the customer is always right. As I said you just need to give them time, there are only so many people who can work on these updates etc. plus there isn't much downtime in the game when these updates are applied compared to other games I have seen.
-
You are kidding right? Time? They had more than plenty of time. Look at BF 4. 1 years and it is still crap. time is not an issue. Willingness is. They are focused on new content they can sell, who cares of the old issues. With the new raid, nobody will keep complaining about the old one. That's their strategy.
-
Omg, time is definitely an issue, yes they have to bring out new content as that is also a complaint aswell, you're so short sighted. They will have a team dealing with people who complain about certain things, the things which get a lot or the most of the attention will be dealt with first. There will be a dedicated team who will have to put ideas forward, then these ideas will have to be accepted, then they have to programme these ideas into a version of destiny which isn't online or on there own dedicated server to see how it works, try and test these updates, which can take a while, then they need to implement these updates into the game and see how they work, until people find exploits, why do people find exploits and they don't probably because there are millions of user on the game and only hand full of testers, I bet any money a lot of the users play the game far more than the testers. Obviously you have no idea how things run within a business, also Bungie will have other projects to work on/help other studios with games etc. There will only be so many people employed by bungie and they can only do so much. I get the kind of shit your spewing in my job, people just don't seem to understand things that should be worked out by a little bit of common knowledge and logic.
-
Your statement is not completely true. There have been NUMEROUS posts concerning vault space. To date, that issue is unresolved. The ONLY Bungie feedback to that issue was a "snarky" response from DeeJ saying "we hear you" when a community member posted a petition thread. In comparison, the thumbnails for materials was "upgraded" during a patch. WHY? Was there a great deal of feedback concerning what the materials thumbnails looked like? NO. The reality is that Bungie does not actually heed forum feedback to affect changes in the game. They use game metadata. They MAY use the forums to obtain ideas, but they communicate little to the community about them.
-
That pretty much covers it.
-
BF4 is an excellent example. That game was garbage when released and they have not put any time into improving it. This game has had more updates in just the last 2 months than the last 2 Battlefield games have had, combined.
-
In terms of quantity of updates, you are right. In terms of "content" not really. BF4 needed a better netcode and balancing. They tried, they FAILED. Destiny needs CONTENT and netcode for pvp. they did not even tried. They balanced, nerfed, etc. So they FAILED MISERABLY.
-
Shut up. Get a life. Go cry on a different forum. Play a different game. Continue to shut up. Nobody gives a hoot that you're stubborn and like to argue. If you can't appreciate an update then go buy a game that doesn't get updates ya tard.
-
You must have some serious brain issue, not to mention with your temper. You will do yourself a big favor just by throwing your keyboard out of the window so to prevent yourself such poor shows.

Nice contribution. Thank you.

Scrub. That is all.

Bearbeitet von II Th3 d0g II: 12/2/2014 10:05:10 AMi think the new material "exotic shard" is only used to upgrade weapons and armor past level 30 so the current exotics don't become obsolete when the new ones drop. Edit: I do have to agree with u on the bugs were still getting on the raid.
-
They will become obsolete though....My exotic chest is still fully upgraded despite the update...only providing 30 light still.
-
I think/hope that the DLC will give the current exotics another upgrade (or 2) that will require an additional exotic shard. Looking at the mythoclast, it's attack stat is a bit weird, not rounded, it 323 atk. My guess is, it's missing it's last upgrade (which it will get in the dlc) to make it 330 (while other exotics would be upgradeable to 320). Thus in the DLC the mythoclast is still a higher ranked gun, but the gap does become smaller.
-
I agree with you man 100%
-
Highlight of the comment: 700 hours + but not helmwt or mythoclast bc you do not want to cheese it. Yeah bc the hard raid is soooo tough. 42 minutes from start to end doing it the legit way. Learn how to play.
-
Your comment is totally pointless. Out of context. Not to mention pretty offensive for intelligence. the one of others obviously, not yours.
-
Nice contribution. Thank you.

Bearbeitet von sy2mj: 12/2/2014 12:05:16 PMYou are blaming bungie bc you play ineffectively and waste time. The fixes and patches are getting better and better. Its a positive step in the right direction.

I totally agree with this guy bungie needs to stop with the wepons and focus on the game. It's nice to have better DMg wepons but there are more problems with game then wepons. Im out peace
