is it just me? or are hunters useless in vog?
In the vog especially hard mode hunters are pretty much useless. All you really need are warlocks self-revive and titans ward of dawn. Hunters golden gun or arc blade is useless, they just seem useful for only holding the relic. They cant even help push atheon or the templar off so whats the use having them? No offense to my hunter brethren, you guys are just more useful in the crucible.

I have all 3 characters that I do the hard raid with and I think the Hunter is awesome for the Atheon part. With my helmet I can one shot four oracles or supplicants which is super helpful when/if someone dies or things are getting overwhelming. For the rest of the raid...pretty useless lol

Each class has their advantage...hunter works great for running the gatekeeper portals..it golden gunning ads in the atheon portal

1 AntwortenThere use is dependant on the skill of the player more then any other class in VOG I can raid on hard with hunter and have no trouble going solo in both Mars and Venus gate and in case your wondering I don't have gallahorn (if that's spelt wrong I couldn't care less) Bottom line is a crap players can complete a hard raid as a Titan or warlock but only a decent player can complete hard mode as a hunter. That's what I've come to find from the randoms I've played with.

Hunters are there to generate orbs of light so everyone else gets their super faster. That's it

Golden Gun actually pushes templar, and kills oracles and supplicants so it's pretty helpful there. Especially if only two people get teleported and ones a hunter or the area is getting pretty filled with supplicants. Arc blade is useless but GG helps

I hardly ever die so it doesn't really matter to me, playing on my warlock and hunter is kinda the same beside the grenades and jump. On my hunter I just take down supplicants. I'm good with the relic so I take it most of the time.

Maybe your team is just to bad so u need 5 warlocks to keep up? We have 1 titan on our team and he only rolls ward of dawn for more damage output. On atheon our warlocks play void walker to insta kill adds in portals. You get a decent team you don't have to worry about hunters not pulling their weight because we don't run around with our heads up our ass and die from adds.

Golden gun destroys the oracles real quick and the ads in the Atheon fight. If you push Templar off, then you hold the relic. Great for Gorgon's labyrinth when they can turn invisible.

First if a hunter is using blade dancer in vog, then he/she is useless. As for ur original statement, simply because hunters cant GREASE bosses doesnt make them useless. If bungie ever fixes these bugs I'll see you choke on those words. #huntersdontcheat #huntersarelegit #noteveryhunterisanoob like my hashtags hahaha

They can kill the gate keepers in the portals and then go invisible to be the fastest relic retrieves possible. They can destroy up to 4 oracles using golden gun. They're not useless, I prefer using my hunter over my titan, I hold my own perfectly fine thank you. Hunters should be great in the moon raid with the solar class, damn those hive are going to burn with my golden gun.

Bearbeitet von sklez: 12/1/2014 12:19:14 PMHunters, in my opinion, have the easiest time with the relic in the fact that most hunters dont need help on venus. golden gun is best for clearing out supps quickly before they can kill teammates. Finally if a team can not get through the gorgons maze together, a blade dancer can easily run past all of them to get to the tunnel. But as always we will never be appreciated as much as the people who cheese and pop a bubble.

Hunters are good at killing supplicants on Anthon with golden gun.. they all have their goods and bads
