Crotas End Available on the 9th or?
Hoping to get an official answer on this, as id like to book the one remaining days holiday i have left, on new raid day.
But word on the street is that it may not be available on the 9th. It will be hitting us a week later (16th).
I just want to book the right day off :)
Can anyone from Bungie please confirm?

Its good to see others questioning the same thing. Seems we need an official word from bungie to clear up the confusion.
EDIT 2: Its been confirmed! The 9th launches with a normal raid. Hard difficulty will be sometime in Jan 2015.

1 AntwortenThey way I understood it is the normal version of the new raid will be available on the 9th, and the hard mode will be available in January. So you should be good to go on the 9th, but I don't know if you need to get through the new story missions before attempting the raid. Might be better to take a later day off to dedicate the whole day to the raid if that's what you're looking to do.

1 AntwortenWhats gonna happen is you gonna have to buy thr dlc for the dark below, then buy a seperate dlc to get the raid on release date a week early before anyone else, then you will have to buy another dlc to get a key to open a door to get inside the raid or you will have to farm up 1000 of each material on each planet. Did I forget the dlc needed to actually fly to that part of the moon? Oh I did not? You need the official poop brown ship. Nothing for free and nothing but wait and grind

From all the info I have come across, it all points to the 9th, to cover both dates book the 16th and chuck a sick day on the 9th haha

3 AntwortenDoes anyone know or any dev stated if we will be able to receive double rewards for doing the dlc raid an the VoG in the same week?? Eg: able to receive rewards from VoG hard mode as well as CE hard mode during the same week?? Or will we be limited to just choosing one?? Assuming level caps increase for each raid therefore having to run VoG for raid armour so that you can run CE??? Anyone got any answers??

3 AntwortenI'm thinking that all the lv 29 players will probably be able to hit lv 30 through the additional story mode. I don't have the true numbers but I think I've read that less than 25% of all the guardians are lv 30. If there was no way of increasing your light level beside the first raid, only a select few blessed by the rngesus would be able to advance to the next raid. That imho would be a game breaker. The trend of only being able to reach the level cap by running the hard raid would probably continue. Lv 33 is reached by getting loot from crota i guess?

19 AntwortenThe Dark Below will be available on Dec 9th, including the raid "Crotas End". The normal raid will be level 30, with the hard being 33. You will have to complete some story missions and 1 strike to unlock the raid.

Lots of threads popping up showing the lead designer's twitter page stating it'll be out on the 9th with a level 30 normal mode.
