Honestly some of you people are awful.
Personally, I love Destiny. Every week doing the raids and nightfalls with new people, making conversation and having fun playing Destiny. This is why this game is so good. The idea of this game, the importance of cooperation in playing it, is what makes it so enjoyable.
But then there are these few people that ruin it for everyone. Every Friday when Xur comes around and you get those people saying "I earned my gear, you're all Xurners". The people who are now saying that people who hit level 30 through Iron Banner are fakes. And then those people in the community with no compassion, like when someone with severe medical issues was given FOAF, and today I saw someone who is fighting depression called a "pussy" by another person in the forums, like seriously, where are your morals and values as a human being.
These are the people that spoil this game for the rest of us. I have come across very few of these people actually playing the game and the majority of people I meet and play with are great people and we have good fun.
But then these people that complain about Xur and IB lvl 30.
WHO CARES!!
I'd rather have more people at level 30. It makes the hard raid each week a lot easier. And to those who want Xur removed because he sells things you got in a lucky drop. Why? When Xur sells these things your future teammates get better armour and better weapons, making raids, strikes, and crucible easier.
Why don't you just get over yourselves and enjoy the game for what makes it good, which is the sense of community you get from working as part of a team and cooperating to achieve things in this game.
Thanks for reading and if any of you want to add me on XB1 my GT is KoloSaurus. I'm always on Destiny and willing to help out with raids, strikers, crucible, anything really,
Also I am looking to join a clan to make some friends, and play with you people that are really enjoying Destiny. So if you run a clan or are a part of one and are looking for some members, please send me a message either through this or on XB1.
Thanks all and hope you all keep enjoy playing Destiny!!
Edit 1: Wow! Can't believe the positive response from you guys. It's fantastic to see so many great community members are out there.
Edit 2: I've received so many adds of you guys wow. I'm looking forward to doing the raid and weekly strikes with you all each week so if you need an extra guardian be sure to invite me if you see me online!

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von CheLime: 11/24/2014 8:38:08 PMIf you reach Ivl 30 with iron banner (like i did) noone can talk shit. You worked your ass off to rank up against the suros regimes, Vex mythoclasts, Gjallahorns etc. and then there are those people who get full raid armor in one run/ or their first run. Its a luck system and there are still times where you just need to work for shit rather than wait to get lucky and then rage when someone else gets lucky. We all work hard at the end of the day. and another thing. you still need to have at least 1-2 peaces of raid gear to reach lvl 30. SALADIN ONLY SOLD BOOTS AND GAUNTLETS

5 Antwortensometimes you can judge weather someone has played the game a lot or not by looking at their grimoire score. You might usually see a lvl 29 with 2000 or more grimoire score so you might think that he/she has played the quite a bit but they still don't have enough raid gear to become lvl 30 because the fact is that in order to be lvl 30 is to be really lucky in raids and those people keep getting bullshitted almost every time they do the raid. Yeah i admit i was one of those people and im sure more of you have experienced this but what im saying is if you see someone who is lvl 28 or 29 it doesnt really mean that they are bad at the game. For all you know they might be better than a lvl 30. I admit that i did buy IB armour but that was because i had done the raid so many times but i still couldn't get what i needed. Some of you may think im not worthy of being lvl 30 but i have a grimoire score of 2235 and i worked so hard for it. And plus it takes skill to win in the iron banner. And i think in my opinion that lvl 30's with iron banner gear are lvl 30 for a reason. Just thought you guys should know this.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von lITHEOPIl: 11/24/2014 9:23:55 PMI have completed AW, FarCry4, Half of GTA5, AC & Almost Dragon Age and I can 100% say that even though I completed destiny's story in a day this game is 100x better than all of it's direct competitors. AW is like a plastic Pre-Pube piece of shit, FarCry awesome graphics but nothing different from FC3 ( apart from elephants ), GTA5 is GTA, AC was boring as HELL and Dragon Age was a great game but a little slow. At this point of time there is no comparison to Destiny, it's unique, testing, and most of all LOADS of fun especially with your mates. There's nothing better than waiting till that reset and smashing out the raid with your best Fireteam in under 40 mins, then jumping on your other characters the following nights to do it all again. Yes it's repetitive and can get very grindy, but to be honest get to a lvl V12 On Elder Scrolls Online then you know what a grind REALY is, this is nothing and mostly a fun grind. It's only going to get better with more content and soon having 2 raids to complete every week on 3 characters, HELL YEAH! Love it. Perfect game Bungie.

What's this compassion of which you speak?
-
Just ignoring them is the best u can do. when i hear people whining when i get an exotic after a strike or something i kick them out of my list, its a game and it should make fun i dont need whiners who tell me they "earned" their gear and stuff, i dont wanna spend my time with those people.

Great post

I totally feel for you man, these forums are a bunch of troglodytes throwing poo at each other. Why play a community driven game if you hate the community? Also, I'd add you, but I'm on PS4 D:

3 Antwortenmy problem isn't with the game, it's more the error codes that screw my team over when atheon is at 5% health and we worked on the mission for four hours. Personally speaking destiny is in the upper teir of my game list, but far below games like super smash bros, halo (MCC), world of tanks xbox 360, and Minecraft.

Couldn't agree with you more! Great post!

haterz gotta hate... don't let it get to you! I've met nothing but fun people so far, thankfully they seem to outnumber the morons :-)

If I were on XB1, I'd definitely add you. The mass majority of this community is infected with the internet anonymity disease and it's plaguing this game like a cancerous tumor that just grows and grows. It's been around for far too long in most games, but I found it's "Baby Boom" during COD and Halo. These games attracted the attention of adolescent teens and young adults who thought using curse words, telling people to go fornicate with their family members made them into some hardened criminal or thug. Forget the cursing and the "I'll slice your throat open, *insert derogatory word beginning with N, W or B*" meaningless threats. Then you have people on these forums who go out of their way to convince others they're horrible because they're venting about a bad experience they had in the game. No, it's not just because of past games. I also blame the parents of these players. Giving into their child's every cry, moan, tantrum and giving them whatever they pleased is the problem. The fact that my mute list is greatly larger than my follow list is upsetting. Belonging to a small clan has definitely had it's benefits and I'm glad I haven't had the need to use the new in-game voice channels, as I'm sure I would be pelted with f-bombs and other derogatory terms.

1 AntwortenThose people aren't just trying to ruin a game, they want to ruin lives too because of their own insecurities. 99% of the time they say on here something they would never have the courage to say to somebody's face. Yes, I reached 30 by getting Iron Banner boots. I also ran the raid every week for about the past two months. I have gotten a helmet and three pairs of gloves. No chest armor or boots. When I am given another avenue to reach that level cap another way why wouldn't I take it? I have also bought stuff from Xur. In addition to that I have done just about every exotic bounty I can get. I had to earn those strange coins somehow. It could be argues that takes more skill than hoping to get it randomly in a drop. In the end, who cares? Why do people constantly have to belittle others just to feel better about themselves? Especially when it comes to a video game.

Totally agree 100%

I have the feeling, that destiny will become these games in which you will pay to enjoy it more. and that's a kick in the testicles. PS: sorry if my English is bad. PS PS: Why in the comment box says: "My body is ready"

I wish you were on the ps4. I'd add you in a second. Props on the forum post, haters need to hear this!

The ability to be anonymous has made too many internet tough guys in this generation. Too bad they will fail in life with their attitudes. I'm sure Ill read about them in the Darwin awards book soon.
