Honestly some of you people are awful.
Personally, I love Destiny. Every week doing the raids and nightfalls with new people, making conversation and having fun playing Destiny. This is why this game is so good. The idea of this game, the importance of cooperation in playing it, is what makes it so enjoyable.
But then there are these few people that ruin it for everyone. Every Friday when Xur comes around and you get those people saying "I earned my gear, you're all Xurners". The people who are now saying that people who hit level 30 through Iron Banner are fakes. And then those people in the community with no compassion, like when someone with severe medical issues was given FOAF, and today I saw someone who is fighting depression called a "pussy" by another person in the forums, like seriously, where are your morals and values as a human being.
These are the people that spoil this game for the rest of us. I have come across very few of these people actually playing the game and the majority of people I meet and play with are great people and we have good fun.
But then these people that complain about Xur and IB lvl 30.
WHO CARES!!
I'd rather have more people at level 30. It makes the hard raid each week a lot easier. And to those who want Xur removed because he sells things you got in a lucky drop. Why? When Xur sells these things your future teammates get better armour and better weapons, making raids, strikes, and crucible easier.
Why don't you just get over yourselves and enjoy the game for what makes it good, which is the sense of community you get from working as part of a team and cooperating to achieve things in this game.
Thanks for reading and if any of you want to add me on XB1 my GT is KoloSaurus. I'm always on Destiny and willing to help out with raids, strikers, crucible, anything really,
Also I am looking to join a clan to make some friends, and play with you people that are really enjoying Destiny. So if you run a clan or are a part of one and are looking for some members, please send me a message either through this or on XB1.
Thanks all and hope you all keep enjoy playing Destiny!!
Edit 1: Wow! Can't believe the positive response from you guys. It's fantastic to see so many great community members are out there.
Edit 2: I've received so many adds of you guys wow. I'm looking forward to doing the raid and weekly strikes with you all each week so if you need an extra guardian be sure to invite me if you see me online!

My drop luck was horrible in terms of exotics. I would get the drop only after I bought from xur. It took me five weeks to hit 30 on one of two hunters. Running raid 2-7 times a week. I support xur because the people getting the stuff are not the ones pulling weight in strikes, pvp, nightfall, and raid in first place.

I agree completely. Need more useful posts and less whining.

4 AntwortenI agree completely with you. But the only reason why i want xur gone is because when he sells an amzing gun for pvp, it makes pvp so much harder. I know that happened with suros, everyone bought that and used it and then pvp wasnt the same after it. Maybe if it was harder to get these guns instead of like 17 strange coins, then it would be different. But its jdt too easy for everyone to have the best guns in the game. This game is meant to play and grind and hope you get lucky drops and only have an exclusive amount of people with best gear. Not everyone have everything

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von Akijax: 11/24/2014 4:34:23 PM[Disclaimer] I luv Destiny This is a competitive game, as it is MMO like, so you must expect people to make stereotypes on types of players. There is some truth to IB being easier to say the least. The raid, you either finish it, or quit/lose. You don't get any gear if you lose/quit. Whereas, in the Iron Banner, you can lose yet obtain rep, which was quite controversial for many but Bungie had to resolve the problem of quitters. I hate Xur, but I will say 60% of my items were bought off Xur, and every other one except 1 has been sold but I got it from elsewhere. Its depressing that the top tier armor can be obtained by completing the weekly heroic strike on level 28 two times, and an exotic top tier weapon can be obtained in 3 weekly heroics on level 28. 2-3 missions, to get an exotic, I understand your point of defense, but eradicating the idea that Xur is a hindrance that allows easy loot is a plain out lie. Sure, these Vendors and events suffice for casuals, but it is the content for casuals which has made the game so much more simpler, and disappointing for some of us. How come every 30 minutes there's some post calling out the ENTIRE Destiny community, calling "some" them assholes, and soon after the Destiny community itself responds, "I couldn't agree more" Fighting satire with satire doesn't help...

Thanks for this, you are correct.

I salute you sir. I wish everyone on Destiny was like you.

I wish there were more people like you in this game. You are a beautiful person. I hope that more people follow y

ur example in the future

Thank you. I also could care less about the freaking cap for these reasons. 1: Who Cares 2:I really get annoyed being pestered about doing the vog on normal/hard. I'm a 29 warlock and a 27 Hunter(day and half getting it there) and really see no point in needing level 30 3rd: I don't want to make my strike playlist's easier. If there was a level 26, 28, and 30 playlist I would definitely jump on the bandwagon. 4th: Only thing I want from the raid is the sparrow anyway, I want to get the fastest sparrow, the trick sparrow, and the most durable sparrow in my vault. ;) I got the trick one, just need the fastest and the most durable.

In all honestly, the only way you can read/participate in these forums without losing your mind is to be able to spot whiners/complainers fast and skip over their posts. Too many people act like this is somehow something more than recreation.

I finished the Hard Raid with a group the other day. 3 of the team members were on my friends list. For all of us, this was our first hard raid completion. I was the only one to receive the Mythoclast. One of the two non-friends proceeded to whine and complain that I was given the Mythoclast and that he deserved it more. He said, "After all I went through and put into this game, and he gets the Mythoclast. I'm done with this game." The next day he was still on patrol, so he didn't quit. Honestly, the only thing I really wanted was the Vision of Confluence and yet I didn't complain that someone else got it and not me. This belief that you are somehow deserving of certain things is what's wrong with some (not all) in the Destiny community. Your letter states this well and ultimately, your team members getting something good improves your odds of getting it the next time or even having that opportunity again. I remember the first Level 30 I ran into in the wild. He was wearing an exotic helmet, but I stopped in the middle of two spawn points to inspect and messaged him a congratulations. I didn't think he was a fake -- but if I can add to your letter: Celebrate with one another no matter the accomplishment. That's why Bungie lets you dance.

You stated that perfectly and people with ib stuff u rock do you think that people with ib didn't work hell na they worked their ass off to the get levels then to get glimmer and they still need at least 1 piece of raid armor and just cause the have ib stuff doesn't mean they're inexperienced I played hard raid with a guy with full ib and he was an absolute boss and some people play the normal raid like 40+ times and can't get that part of raid gear so they buy ib stuff instead of waiting another 6 weeks before they eventually get it so anyone who says iron banner (ib) are bad SHUT UP! (Remember this is my opinion ok)

1 AntwortenI agree completely, I don't care how you got your lv 30 gear. We have 2 in our main raid group that needed boots. And now that they have there IB ones it helps the whole group. we take out Atheon faster, and two more people who feel more comfortable with the relic. As for weapons, it only helps the group whether we're in VoG or the crucible. people just need to get over the fact that everything in this game is random. whether its your rewards from nightfalls, strikes, pvp, or even what Xur sells each week.

When i read they gave a gun call "The Fate of All Fools" to someone with a severe medical condition I thought it was a bizarrely poorly named gun for that PR piece.
-
Preach it! Some people forget sometimes that it's a game, and not a place to be rude and aggressive towards others. Keep having fun out there and play on guardians!

Big bump 10000

Before I make a comment I remind myself of 1 thing: 1. The audience is mostly made up of 12 year olds who's balls haven't even dropped yet. Honestly, anyone who takes any of these insults to heart is being a bit too sensitive. I'm not saying it's right, but just realize that the person sitting infront of their keyboard typing those things doesn't know you at all. Therefore, whatever they say holds no weight. Just ignore them, block/mute them and move on.

I agree with OP :D

Yea. I really didn't care when he sold the multi tool. I knew people who wanted it would use it more than me

Destiny is just one of those games you want to keep playing despite flaws.

I enjoy the game, but the internet is the internet. There are tons of great people, but also tons of people who just love to troll and cause trouble. The matchmaking is rough, and there has to be a better way to build communities in game, but I've played with so many helpful people who allowed me to progress, even as someone who got into it a bit late. The clan integration seems spotty, for PSN users the ability to communicate via PSN is flawed at best, and matchmaking would be really helpful, but those are all things that you can work around. If the communication part of the game could either be cleared up more via app or in game that would really pull it together. Otherwise this is the first game to kinda scratch my OCD grinding/progression itch that wow left when i quit. =)

1 AntwortenWell said. I would add you based solely on your post...but I'm on PS4.
