I have two 30s and a 29 that needs one piece. All vog gear cause I don't play pvp anymore. I think it's harder to get IB lv30 gear than to gear gear from the vog. So I don't really see the point. I'm not going to play ib for days to get a piece of lv30 gear.

Why so much bs about how anyone got 30. They did it however and why do people give a tiny rats a$$ how they got there. It's a game for the love of God. People need to get a life and not worry so much about the game and who has what and is the Rng fair or not.

I have full raid gear, only did IB cause the gear looks better, and to get the ship. (Still haven't gotten the ship) I plan to sport the IB gear for my level 30, also bought both versions so I can swap them when I swap between auto and scout rifles. I'm also happy because now there will be more Lvl 30's to raid with. Also, tears.

I am pretty sure that you and many that agree with you are just mad that now their is an alt way to get some of the gear that doesn't involve grinding raids like you did.

I have everything else and use sunbreakers to hit 30. When IB came out I grinded it out and got those nice gloves that allow me to use heart of the praxic fire and be 30 that way. Am I still a "real" 30 since I choose to use the IB gloves because it's a better setup? Please someone tell me if I'm a real 30 before I cut myself......

Does it really matter? Seriously I got all my Raid Gear and prefer the IB gear because it look stylish. No one really begged for that IB gear to be able to get you to thirty. TDB is coming out and apparently the VM from VoG is the best weapon for the job. And Bungie probably wanted everyone to have the best chance possible to get it.
