Be Honest - "Earned" or Xur-ned" Your First Exotic?
With all this debating going on between "earners" and "Xur-ners" I'm wondering how many people actually got their first exotic from Xur?
I would think the number would be high, since he's been around since the start when everybody was a lower level and the raid wasn't around yet. I would also be interested to know if the same people who whine when Xur sells their precious exotic actually got their first one from him, but I doubt many would admit it anyway.
Also share what level you were when you got your first, regardless of which method you used.

Xurned Suros when he first had it. Had to weekly strike solo on a lower 20 level just to get all 9 coins that very Saturday. Fought harder for that than anything else in the game, raid or otherwise. Then a month later I get one from a Tiger strike. First exotic I've seen running any strike, and all I do is strike. Ah well.

My first was MIDA from a Tiger strike. RNGesus loved me last night. Got legendary scout and suro regime in back to back strikes

First Exotic was SUROS from raid chest first time I opened a chest in the raid :D

I "earned" strange coins therefore, I "earned" my weapon from Xur.

Earned Plan C from Templar first. Then I bought IceBreaker for my second exotic and so on..

First exotic came from my first legendary engram (heavy weapon) "Thunderlord" about one week after game release

1 AntwortenI'm not gonna lie, as soon as I had enough coins I ran to daddy xur for muh exotic. Know what? I don't care either I worked for those coins. Cause when I started playing doing e weekly and having no idea about the mechanics Made it hard. Now of course not after doing something over and over, but when I started yeah I felt like I worked for that xurnd exotic.

I earned my exotics. But the RNG didn't give them to me, so I had to buy them from Xur. So really I earned them twice.
