Be Honest - "Earned" or Xur-ned" Your First Exotic?
With all this debating going on between "earners" and "Xur-ners" I'm wondering how many people actually got their first exotic from Xur?
I would think the number would be high, since he's been around since the start when everybody was a lower level and the raid wasn't around yet. I would also be interested to know if the same people who whine when Xur sells their precious exotic actually got their first one from him, but I doubt many would admit it anyway.
Also share what level you were when you got your first, regardless of which method you used.

1 AntwortenEarning a exotic is doing the bounty. Earning in a non straight forward way is earning the strange coins. Getting lucky with RNG is not earning in my book. I admit I got lucky with RNG when I got my icebreaker. I'm more proud of my last word Bc I had to earn my strange coins. [spoiler]RNG is like winning the lottery[/spoiler]

2 AntwortenIf by "earned" you mean completing the bounty for it then Invective. If by "earned" you mean by winning the lottery then the Hunter arms with the skull. Earning by bounty is the only real way to earn an exotic. I would even say earning by buying from Xur because you work for your coins.

Earned mine in PvP. It was the truth. I came first in the whole game and this is when I was lvl 20 too. Pretty sweet. I really like it and use it a lot. Would've been more happier if it was a Syria, red death or even a last word but hey happy enough since it was an exotic

My first exotic was the patience and time. Got it from my first ever (prepatch) legend engram.
