Feedback on how the new forum has impacted #Gaming.
When I first came to Bungie, posting to this forum about other games was forbidden! It was important to me that gamers had the freedom to express themselves sincerely. I play lots of games. I love Bungie games, but more than one disc spins in my tray. This board was always intended for those conversations.
Sorry that the release of Destiny threw this corner of the forum into disarray. I am thrilled that people are using our site to make friends and play games, but there should be a specific place for that. Yesterday, we built that place. Please link people to there is they come here to look for allies.
Sound off and tell me if the new forum structure is helping.

3 AntwortenIt's useless trying to convince some of these posters. They are literally posting raid requests just to get us mad at this point and when we point out that they shouldn't post here, they immediately insult us.

You've just caused a Civil War; I suggest you just manually change the Destiny threads to their real homes.

It's somewhat helping. There's people posting in the right forum now, but there's between 50-100 people insisting on spamming #Gaming still. There's our main problem. They're upvoting lfg threads and doing anything to "reclaim what's theirs". This is a forum war now, and it's easily fixed by ninjas with banhammers.

It's working pretty well. I think it would be more effective to change the description again to something more like "to discuss games we are not currently working on." Give no reason for people to post not gaming related topics here.

The Gaming section still floods with Destiny gamers, it needs be sort out by someone with higher authority because its not working. I still see some of the same people posting from the other days. They clearly don't care.

I'm seeing some actual topics on games other than Destiny again, so that's a start. Recruitment threads are still being made all the time here though. We need someone in a position of power to make it clear recruitment threads don't belong. It's been made clear normal users don't get through to them.

I've been openly critical of the decisions made over the last couple years on this site, so it's only fair that I give praise when it's due as well.. This update is the first time in a long while that I'm seeing noticeable change for the better. I've always felt like there was a ton of "diamond in the rough" features on the new site that just seemed grossly implemented. I feel we're seeing some of that become more refined with this iteration. I hope this is just the tip of a very large iceberg, but so far I certainly feel we're headed in the right direction.

My opinion i could have done a better forum in phpbb its messy and no structure excluding layouts you guys really need to modetate it better as well, so much shit falls trough the cracks here.
