Why don't people play the game to the fullest?
I don't understand why people just stick to one class or only play pve. God I'd get burned out doing the same shit over and over again. I mean try out pvp. It doesn't have to be all serious just join up and have fun. I get that making all the same class makes it easier to get to 30, but damn yall don't get bored playing the same shit? I have a 29 titan 27 hunter and 26 warlock. I mix it up every now and then with pve and pvp. Maybe yall think the game sucks because you limit yourself to 25% of the game.
EDIT **I'm not forcing my style of gameplay onto anyone else. This is merely a question addressing why people limit themselves to certain sections of the game. WHATEVER the reason, hey, that's cool. Just asking why.**

2 AntwortenHad one of each class, now I don't. I deleted warlock and titan just because I liked hunter the most really. I don't get burned out because I have a life. I also like PvP.

2 AntwortenI was scared of pvp to start with and really enjoyed strikes, patrols and story missions. I got bored of tiger strikes now I spend a lot of time in pvp, keeps it fresh and keeps me on my toes lol

I suck at PvP, luckily my gf is beast at it. I just use her iPad when she plays. It gives me time to see all the crybabies on the forums xD

I gave it go, to see what it was like, to see if I could do a bit better than badly, and also to earn marks (I think it sucks that crucible marks can be used at so many vendors, where as vanguard marks are limited to the Vanguard Quartermaster). To be honest, I did not do well at all when I tried it, and actually felt a bit guilty, not being able to contribute much to my teams while still earning rewards. So, I stopped playing PvP. I kept meaning, as I progressed and got better weapons, to give it another try, but my playing time was always tied up with grinding for weapons and doing strikes for coins etc., and PvP just became a very low priority. Now that I have more experience, can aim quickly a bit better, and have better weapons (and there is not much left at the VG quartermaster that I care to buy), I will probably give it a bit more time. We'll see how it works out. Plus, I just read the post where the OP was bitching about how Titans with the Armamentarium and grenades are wrecking Pvp... :) Edit; I will add that I have really only been playing one character (Titan). I started a Hunter, primarily to be able to earn more than 100 VG marks per week and to be able to double the number of Strange Coins earned per week doing the weekly heroic. But, I got tired quickly of repeating the story content, and realized that there wasn't much more to buy from the VG QM and that, due to time constraints and lack of friends, I am only able to do the weekly heroic infrequently.

1 AntwortenThe play the game the way I like and will do so for a long time. When halo 1 came out I played that game coop with my brother for 3 years putting a lot of that time running the campaign from start to finish on legendary or a single mission. Assault on the control room has to be the level we played the most, the A.I. Was some of the best in the series and still can show a thing or two to games still. I like titan the most because I favour classes that support to at least able to give to others, I've played all three classes and I'm still going to level another titan because the others I feel nothing for. What me and my brother are able to do with two titans I can not do with the others, we can keep out bubbles up as long as there are enemy's, learning all aspects of my class make it fun, still to this day there are few people that know how to truly push their class. Players hold onto their supers too long and play the game like a shooter and just blindly kill everything in sight, dot want to use supers to kill weak ultras/majors they don't let titan make orbs they just care about killing targets and not letting others use supers at the right time. So until the game gets boring which for me won't be anytime soon, I play because I like shooters and this game gives me a shooter with rpg elements and its fun, ya content is a little low but if I can play halo 1 for three years and one level 70% of that time I think I'll have no problem enjoying making orbs and smashing raid bosses.

1 AntwortenI'm with you. I made Warlock that *mostly* uses auto rifle, fusion and heavy machine gun. Then I made a Hunter using Handcannon, sniper rifle and rocket launcher. Just to make play style as different as possible. I suck at PvP but there aren't enough missions to run PvE exclusively and not be bored to death.

I rather play with people, not against them. I rather all the time money and resources they had gone into the crucible to have actually gone into the main game. If I were inclined to PvP there are better options like cod bf etc

When you have nothing to do, focus on maxing weapons (bounties) 3. Of course, dailys, weeklys and raids 4. Farming materials (will come in handy one day) 5. Vanguard strike/crucible playlist (whichever you prefer) 6. Make sure you do all the above (except 1) on all characters 7. Help out your mates with raids, weeklys, whatever.. 8. Collect all the ghosts 9. Build up your vault (with synthesis, shards, energies etc) ...any more people want to add?

1 AntwortenI used to have 3 hunters, at 30. That way id commit myself to becoming the best hunter around. THan i got bored and made all three classes. All of em are fun to play and are diverse. Now when im bored, i just switch to another toon. Its also a good way to learn other classes, this way you wont look stupid when your playing the Raid and refer Pulse grenades as templar-cheese-grenades.

1 AntwortenI don't get why people are so particular either.... I have all 3. Lvl 28 Hunter, Lvl 28 Titan, and I'm working on leveling up my Lvl 19 Warlock. I enjoy all 3 in their own way! Hunter is by far my favorite, but I love being able to switch to a different play style! I tried PvP... I suck LOL!!! The first time i had 0 kills. Yep. ZERO. I had NEVER played anything like it before and almost got so embarrassed i guess you could say, that I wasn't going to give it another go. But i did and got 7 on my next try! Like you said, it doesn't have to be serious, you can still suck and have a good time! I'm living proof!!! If you ever see HELLKAT20 in there, just know, you'll be able to kill me quick! But i don't mind! I love having something different and challenging to help me get better! I wont improve if it's all too easy. Before you all start bashing me for being a noob or being so god awful in the crucible, just know, I DON'T care about your opinion. I play this game for me, not for you. Bash all you want. I'm having a good time and that's why i play, Not to impress all you gamer gods out there. *bows respectively to gamer gods*

2 AntwortenI have no idea man.... I see people who have three warlocks and I'm just like... WHY!? I even like mixing it up further and swapping sub classes between all three. Really, there are 6 completely different viable ways to play this game.

4 AntwortenDifferent people have different reasons. Some people just flat out don't care and stick with what they like most. Some people have very limited time to play and trying to focus on every aspect of the game is a very unrealistic goal for them. Some people don't like PvP, listing all the reasons why would be a topic in and of itself. Basically, the game is what the player makes of it. This is the best "in general" answer I can think of. Hope it helps clear things up.

This is true, I have all 3 character over 20. The worst part about this was grinding those characters to 20 though. I love switching guns for my characters in the vault. Imagining the faces of people in the crucible getting killed by a lvl 23 with the found verdict. After 20 it mixes the game up. I can do nightfall 3 times, which ups my weapons for everyone if I'm lucky enough, or allows me to run 3 of the same guns like I like on different classes. It also allows me to develop 3 different play styles. I play my level 30 hunter wayyyy different than my 28 warlock. This keeps me on my toes with over 400 hours in the game. You people are not playing the game to the fullest.

The game is great. I have created and played all 3 classes. I don't care for PVP. I do not raid. I don't feel like I am limiting myself.

1 AntwortenPersonally I'm quite attached to my hunter, I've got a 25 titan but I don't play him. I tried using a warlock but I couldn't get in to it. They're just not as fun. As for PvP all I see are shotguns and fusion rifles, getting dropped in one shot kind of ruins any PvP experience. The maps are too close quarter so any one can just run around with a shotgun and wreck shit.

PVE is my preference. I like PVP when my friends are playing but it's definitely not a big thing for me. I don't even know if i did a single match last week. I've maxed all acharacters and then I ended up making a second titan for raid purposes.

4 AntwortenAltho I only run Titans (lvl30 and lvl4) I agree. I used to just grind strike after strike after strike. It got old fast, I never wanted to bother with PvP as I knew I'd suck. But I finally decided to try it, and I was horrible for a good amount of time (like .3-.6kd horrible) but I decided I wanted crucible rank 3 to be able to buy a few guns and went at it. Just hit rank 3 yesterday and I'm beginning to consistently be at 1.5-2.0kd, near the top of the team and going on 5 streaks fairly often with 10 streaks mixed in. I've been doing well enough that my lifetime KD is now closing in on 1.0 lol I basically just decided to have fun and not get upset when I was getting destroyed, I just paid attention and focused on learning the maps, adjusting my style and speeding up my reactions. I also started doing lots of raid runs even after getting my loot just to learn not only all the positions but how to mesh my style with other styles. I honestly have been trying to get back to doing tiger strikes in hopes of new legendaries but it's been awhile since I've done one now that I'm really enjoying each piece of the game. Hell I even sort of enjoy farming mats as I use it as time to get adjusted to new weapons and stuff.
