All over this forum you can find posts and even whole threads badmouthing the Hunter class and those who play it. That's no secret. But whose behind all that hatred? I've figured it out....[b]it's the hipsters. [/b] Stay with me here, think about it. Really. In the promotions and advertising, the Hunter is often the center of the ad. Rarely do you see the Hunter not positioned in the center, if not even more toward the front than the others. In the Mars commercial he uses his blink to surprise the colossus with his grenades and then dusts himself off and pops his hood much like you'd pop your collar, while not looking at the explosion, as Led Zeppelin plays in the background. In the launch of Destiny, advertising influenced minds and many chose the Hunter, resulting in droves of them spilling into the tower, planets, and the crucible. The Hunter is cool, collected, stylish, popular, and has good taste in music. Everything a hipster lacks. And you may be questioning why then, if it's just the hipsters who hate these hunters so, why there is such mass hatred against them on these forums? Simple. Whose more tech savvy and technologically dependent than a hipster? The Internet to a hipster is like blood to a vampire, what better place to strive and let out that fury than an online message board? The Hunter became too mainstream. So cool that it can often be confused with being uncool. It became so mainstream that it became underground to an extent that even the hipsters haven't even heard of. The hipsters can't stand it and they're lashing out, and they won't stop, they'll continue fighting this battle day after day, night after night, week after week.....or, you know....until the next Urban Outfitters sale. Hipsters, I know you're out there, hell Id bet a pretty penny some of you will be reading this right now, but that's fine. You're too late, I've outed you to the community and no matter how many mustaches wrinkle or cardigans unbutton because of this post there's nothing you can do to change it.
