Mass Effect trilogy next gen confirmed! Destiny to lose sci fi audience.
Confirmed via twitter. Remastered Mass Effect trilogy is coming to next gen. Focused on improved gameplay and graphics and seamless transition from game to game without having to do new play throughs (Something like the DA Keep or Gibbed on PC) all DLC included 1080p 60fps will be LOOKED AT but thus far this is only what they're looking at.

With that in mind it's important to reflect on those famous last words

Indeed, they will have figured out quite quickly that nobody cares about a sucky ending to a game without a story to begin with.

5 AntwortenSo people who went to next gen can now buy all three games including the first one which was not available on PlayStation. Good for the Playstation people. Hope they enjoy "Classic" Mass Effect before EA turned it into a liner corridor shooter. I'll stick with my traditional 360 copies thank you. Not interested in repurchasing games I already own. May the next gen experience the less distressing ending. Now where's ME4 EA? That I care more about.

3 AntwortenSo Mass Effect 3 ' ending still pisses me off when I think about it. I spent unbelievable amounts of time playing ME & ME2. I loved em to death. Then...that ending in ME3. Well, it killed the whole series for me. I havent bought a bioware product since i saw the ending. I doubt that will change. Since that is the case, I will be playing Destiny.

No one has played a ME game until they've played them all with one character. Might have to get the next gen trilogy when I upgrade.

Meh. I never bought into mass effect's story. I haven't played 3 yet, and I don't really care if I do, never mind on a new console. Mass effect won't suck me out of Destiny.

Well, they've got my money. I'll definitely be buying the ME trilogy. That doesn't decrease my enjoyment of Destiny, though. They're different games. I play chess sometimes, too.

2 AntwortenI'm not surprised more and more epic franchises are getting ported with serious effort behind them. The game industry strikes me as creatively bankrupt right now, with letdown after letdown coming down the pipe. Personally, I'm ready to replay more classics than hold out hope for anything new.

I will still play destiny but as far as time spent playing ME trilogy is tied at number one with elder scrolls, fallout, FF7, Dragon Age, and Halo. Stories kept me playing as well as gameplay.
