As an Xbox gamer, things are looking ok at the minute. I'm pleased with how they're listening to fan feedback and pushing new stuff on a monthly basis. I feel like we're finally getting close to where we should have been at launch.
I still have mega envy over the PS4 image share though (which I believe we aren't getting until early 2015). Also, PS4 exclusives as of next year look to be great, so Microsoft have a lot of work to do as 2015 really gets going.

You seem to forget the online service on Xbox shits allover PS4 :L It's the only advantage xbox has atm PS4 has the slight better graphics etc but tbh id rather have the better online experience than a bit better graphics.

Xbox Live was down for 2-3 hours yesterday for me. The service was the first of it's kind (bar perhaps the Dreamcast which was waaaay ahead of its time) and had a head start on Sony. Sony's PS+ game collection though is massively impressive. Microsoft need to match this in my opinion before it can be considered a "better" service.

EA access also sounds pretty neat if they can come up with high quality games continuously. Not any Peggle 2 shit over and over again.

Yeah, definitely. I don't think it's for everyone, but it's still decent nonetheless. I've not been over impressed with the catalogue of titles as of yet for the additional fee, but hopefully this will improve. I'm also a bit confused about how it works. When they add new games to it, do they remove other games so that it's always a set number? Or do they keep adding to it so that the collection constantly grows?

This is also unclear to me! I don't even own XB1 and right now it looked like "well these are ok titles to go with" but if they just recycle sports games with occasional shooter or whatever then I'd say it might be a bit bummer. But if they keep adding games to it then I think it's like Netflix of games where is a lot of ok and meh games with occasional high quality games then it's definately worth it. And it gives those "early access demos" to games like they have for Dragon Age: Inquisition right now. You can download the full game for free and try it for 6 hours five days before release and if you buy it, the progress carries over to your game. Sounds interesting!
