Vex Mythoclast ammo capacity should be also buffed
Whenever i saw the ammo capacity on that primary weapon being fullauto, i got -blam!-ing sick... 56/112, you can run out of amo in less than a MINUTE. Takes 10 seconds to shoot all the 56 bullets in the clip...
(guessing you are not going to shoot all of them nan stap like a street cone)
And the good part is, you're -blam!-ed up if you are in VoG Hard where the ammo drops are lame... yea, i take with me a lot of ammo synthesis... but you gotta wait 5 minutes every time you run out of ammo, -blam!-ign stress me out... turns out that the "MOST DIFFICULT GUN TO GET IN GAME" sucks!!! i prefer using a hand cannon (The Devil You Know).

It's a crappier version of the Suros or VoC at this point, nothing more.

Before they nerfed it into the ground the capacity was okay, the lack of ammo was compensated by the high damage output. Now the gun just blows.

Fusion Rifles have 33- 35 rounds or less. This sounds reasonable

Would be nice. Although the damage is low the ammo needs to be increased to 300-356. To compensate or increase the drop capacity of grey ammo

And what i'm the most curious about is, every weapon that is dropped in Vault of Glass, has the Oracle Disruptor... but the best weapon (Vex) doesn't? Vision of Confluence, Atheon's Epilogue has it... the Vex, being the best weapon only droppable by Atheon on Hard, and being Exotic... doesn't include that perk... [b]nice move Bungie.[/b]

Mythoclast can really tear through trash mobs, however, you get through 1 wave in VOG and suddenly you don't have any ammo. Plus, the only ammop drops on the mao are sitting in a big green pool of ooze. Also, I used TDYK until I got Fatebringer.

Agreed, the ammo capacity is incredibly low. I run out of ammo farming spin metal on earth.

I even have the Praxic Fire bonus for carrying more ammo for Fusion Rifles and it still seems like too little ammo.

3 AntwortenI didn't get to enjoy the Vex pre nerf. However, I am hopeful with whatever buff they are planning for the Vex that it will address the ammo capacity and damage issue. Perhaps, the ammo capacity won't be as much of an issue once the damage is increased (more damage per shot = less shots to kill a target = more available ammo post encounter with target). It may be an over-buff if they increase both. Though, I wouldn't complain.

Totally agree. I gave it a test run during raids today and...wow it sucked. The VoC is clearly superior. I was holding middle during conflux and ran out of ammo 2 times every phase. Annoying.

Agree, I think 200-300 would be fair. (Mythoclast owner, check my Hunter.)

6 AntwortenJust recently got the mythoclast and totally agree that it needs more ammo! Anyone try a armor buff like more ammo for fusion rifles like the lucky raspberry has and if so how much more do you get?

It wasn't a problem till they nerfed it. When they fix it, it should improve.

Its still a good weapon, think of it more as a scout rifle that can spit out some hate if you need it to, suros is nothing compared to vex if you use it right.

1 Antwortenwith other weapons VOC for example the bigger magazine perk also gives more overall ammo, but for Mythoclast the bigger battery perk does not give more overall ammo. which really sucks because it can run out of ammo very fast.

YES! I have been saying from day 1 that the mythoclast needs a higher ammo capacity. *HIGH 5* Please give us more ammo Bungie! At least push it to 300 max capacity.
