To everyone complaining about the price of the DLC, I just spent £16 on food. One meal.
The DLC is £4 more and will offer weeks of fun.
People it's a measly £20, just have beans for tea a few nights and it's paid for itself.
P.S I got two buckets, not all the food was for me, but I could eat two buckets because I'm a big guy and I like chicken.

Bearbeitet von HeartStrong07: 11/16/2014 12:54:53 PMI am committed to this game. I generally enjoy playing it. However, servers problems, boring repetitive missions crisscrossing the map, the limited number of strikes, poor, or no matchmaking for weekly and nightfall strikes and VOG, horrible story content and limited player interaction (e.g., chat in the Tower) is why, in good conscious, I cannot purchase the DLC. I want to see and experience the game play content and mechanics improve. I feel like buying the DLC is rewarding Bungie for making a less than an optimum product when they had the funds and resources to make an exceptional, genre altering, product.

Wow you guys get screwed with game prices annnnnnd fried chicken. That sucks

Haha beans and tea

Great post, and I agree. What is 20 pounds even. A few hours of work? Who cares. I can drink that on half a night of going out. People will always complain, no matter what.

12 AntwortenBearbeitet von H3MR0lD RAGE: 10/30/2014 7:20:47 PMYou did it wrong. First off you're supposed to buy $60 worth of food or the £ equivalent of what you put down for Destiny. But make sure that they give you only a 1/4 or a 1/3 of your complete order. Then go to the back of the line and patiently wait your turn. When you get to the checkout pay £16 or £20 more to "unlock" the next portion of your order. Rinse & repeat a few times and you'll have your complete order. Yay!

They have KFC in Great Britain? Britain? Wales? Scotland? England? The northern part of Ireland? Why not Mondo's?

I think that's a good way to show that a person is addicted to Destiny. "Hmmmm, should I buy a week's worth of groceries? But that does equate to a full copy of Destiny..." In all honesty though, videogames and their DLCs give a lot of bang for the buck in terms of entertainment value compared to other options. -watching the latest movie in IMAX: $12 for 2 hours (Interstellar) -going to the casino and gamble: $50 - xxxx for 1 day -purchasing a novel: $20 for 300 pages -going to a concert at a small venue: $15 for 2 hours -paying a visit to the club and getting drinks: at least $40 for a night -Hulu subscription: $7.99 per month It's all about price comparison.

9 Antwortenheres sone for ya. One movie ticket, 10.99 (20.99 for dbox.) 10.50 for popcorn and soda. that right htere is 20-30 bucks and its only 2 hours of entertainment.

Yeah, food. It's not like you need that to survive or anything. This expansion is an insult to every Destiny player. It has nothing, just like DeeJ's weekly updates. Three story missions? That should infuriate every Destiny player, regardless of preference in liking story or not just because it's so little. PvPers get -blam!-ed by only getting a few Crucible maps when there is only 9 or 10 depending on what console. One or two strikes? I made fun of this expansion by saying it would have three. The only thing this expansion does right is all the gear. Oh, and I can't forget TWO WHOLE LIGHT LEVELS, such a difference! A new raid with more bugs, and a good strategy that Bungie will misconstrued to be an exploit.
-
this is actually a good comparison. I feel the same after playing Destiny and eating KFC. stopped eating KFC a long time ago, time to stop playing Destiny
-
4 AntwortenWeeks of fun...I Lol'ed. It will give max of 2 hours of fun. The rest is repetitive fun for the brain dead who enjoy little mental stimulation

12 AntwortenGuys, on behalf of all Xbox people I want us to not buy the new dlc or any more bungie content until bungie changes their agreement with Sony and start to give Xbox people the exclusives that Sony people have been getting. Did you know that sony players In the next dlc will be getting 2 new strikes that Xbox people won't! We have been loyal to bungie for far too long! We deserve to be treated better. Help me by posting on this form stating your loyalties to Xbox. I believe if we can boycott their dlc they will realize they will loose a lot of money if they do t change things around. Stand strong with mr and in the long Run we will get equality. Spread the word. Xbox is on strike!
