So,
I have been reading all the posts on here. Mostly bad and some good. Someone tried to compare this game to games like WoW and FF 15. Umm, those are subscription games. You pay to play, monthly. Since you don't pay to play on Destiny, what is the big deal? Destiny never promised anything and to be honest, isn't done with the roll out. There will be issues, yes. Like anything new, there are going to be bugs and pesky glitches that would drive you crazy. For me, I was booted off more times tonight than I would have liked. But, I do enjoy the game. So, I am sure that they are working on the problem and I will most likely purchase the DLC this December. Is every game perfect, no. Does that mean ranting and bitching on a website is going to somehow fix the problem? No. What is "better" is in the expectations of the person playing the game. Everyone has their own expectations of what they want and expect. The fact is, your expectations may not meet the reality of the game. If you don't like the game as it is written, then maybe its not the game, but your misplaced expectations of what you thought the game would be. You're mad because you wanted more and allowed yourself to be disappointed. I went into this game with no expectations on what I thought it should be. There were some glitches and I have learned what I needed to do to progress. I would like to see more and this December, I will. You don't have to agree with me. Just accept the game for what it is. If you don't like it, the answer is simple. Don't play it. Bungie doesn't expect everyone to like what they have produced. The up side is, there are a lot of games out there that you can play. If you don't think this one is ready, play another. I, for one, will continue to log in, when I can stay logged in, and chase around the Vex... laughing when they explode. I may even go to the Crucible and chuckle at the amount of times I "die" and the people that get so serious on their kill ratios. Honestly, its a game. Games are meant to be enjoyed and to have fun. If you are throwing your controller or spewing your word vomit on sites like this, then you may want to re-evaluate your gaming experience. Go play Mario Cart....or read a book. Relax folks. Its just a game...

1 AntwortenEver heard of Guild Wars 2? It's not pay to play and it's genuinely outstanding.

I would agree with you except for one big thing you are over looking. DESTINY IS ASKING US FOR OUR THOUGHTS. If I'm playing a game that I think screwed the pooch on a lot of things and they ask me my opinion should I keep quiet and continue to play? Or should I say hey, great idea I would love to give you mine and my friends feedback. I'm not a huge fan of the game as of right now but I believe in bungie enough to continue playing with faith that my voice is heard and put into consideration. What I'm trying to say is I don't play and rant because I want too. I play and rant because bungie wants me too.

if a ton of people are mad, there might possibly be something to be mad about. i also started playing destiny with no expectations other than it being another great game from bungie. i didnt even keep up with the dev vids or trailers or news. bungie was making another game, thats all i needed to know. cheated. there are some jaw dropping parts about destiny. but theyre being drowned out by all the nuances that could have easily never existed. first game with loot, maybe take notes from a few different loot systems in other games. new to mmo ish games: take notes of what to and not to do from other mmos. didnt even use past fps experience though. no ranked pvp play, no chat, 5 modes on 6 maps. metaphor: if im gonna make a pizza for the first time, im gonna learn how others do it first, gonna watch vids and take notes. its dumb to not learn collectively from another's experience.

7 AntwortenI know it's a game. I pay to play FF14 ARR. I just bumped my sub up for another year. That's a nice bit of coin. Here is the difference. The Dev's, and producer listen to the community. They interact with them. Letters from the producer, polls, answers to questions in their forums. You get what you pay for? Bungie has our money. Has my money. I bought the season pass. I expected what they were advertising. They did not deliver. Who builds a game that you need parties to complete it, with no way of searching for those parties in the game? Where did the story go? Level up another class? Why. It's the same, everything! You have some different mechanics. Oh boy! You brought up FF. Do you know the story of the original FF14. It failed. It was on line for two years. It was a console MMO. They spent to much tech on graphics. They had to put a cap on the players you could see on your screen. They had 20. We have 16. The Dev's that were working on it never worked on a MMO. They figured they could patch anything that needs to be fixed after the launch. Does that sound at all familiar? This game should have been held back and launched when it was complete. This game is not complete.
