Is there no way to enable matchmaking in weekly strikes or events? I have been inviting countless numbers of players, only to find them leaving at the final boss when it gets a little frustrating. I would really appreciate if matchmaking was available for weekly activities. Other than that, everything is great.

We need lobby chat or pvp party without being friends, makes games very slow and too silent.

FIFA- U kick a ball fps - U shoot people Rpg - u find stuff and level up Why is everyone so mad that this fits into this category. It's all about what the most enjoyable game in the category And this is the most enjoyable fps out there currently. If u don't like the grinding aspect of the game to level up that's fine. Go play cod or battlefield where u just shoot people in pvp over and over again to gain exp where those who play the most have the best weapons because of this. On this u must be good and cooperative to complete the raid to be the best guardian This game has opened the door for a new category of fps and it suits my gaming style perfectly. Yes everyone will buy da but it's not the same category as this so mentioning u are going to buy it is pointless. Everyone will. No one knows what the dlc consist of so its not worth speculating at all. I think the dlc is cheap personally when battlefield premium was 40 pound. Assassins creed was 15£ and that actually gave you nothing lol. Please don't say it was already in the game, it's garbage. Yes some people have glitched it to see some content, who's to say all developers do this we just don't know? Stop hating, enjoy what we have- Even the haters has probably put more hours into this game then other big titles offered! ( and enjoyed it hense the hours shhhh it's a secret)

My only issue atm is I can't get random groups for weekly and so forth. I haven't played console in 13 years so I don't have 100s of Xbox friends , so I would like to see a group matching que,system. Or make a chat lfg channel at the tower so the rest of us can get a group . I tried joining clans but so far no luck with a group. I can't even get my weekly done.

Hello everyone. First off, I'm new to the game, about two weeks in. I'll be honest. I'm having a great time. I have read these posts, the flaming hate that is coming out on these forums is overwhelming. I've read it. I guess I'm just in the minority. I'm not here to disagree with anything that's been written or expressed in reviews or anything like that, but perhaps to temper that line of thought with some opinions and thoughts from the other side of the fence. I see this as a game of patience. Not in just the fact that at end game you have to get lucky and get your rare loot, or flail around trying to find people to group up with to raid, but that games today are no longer what they used to be. I'm an older gamer, and I'm not going to bore everyone with my early experiences with games, but I have seen how the culture has certainly evolved. Look at this forum for instance, this is where people who play the game come to discuss it. It used to be in the yards of your neighbors or during recess at school. Developers and gaming companies are doing what they can to keep up with us, to satisfy us. I am one of those who thinks we as gamers have become entitled. We're the consumer, right? And the customer is ALWAYS right. Anyone who's worked in retail knows how that really works out. We want and we want and we want. I know there were grand promises on this game, and I know that those promises haven't exactly come through in these first weeks of the game, but does that mean the company failed us? Does this mean the game is dead and/or dying? Patience is the key here. When a game is released these days, it's always a race to see who can complete it first. MMOs are certainly no exception to the rule. Heck, there are in game achievements for that kind of stuff. But, what would the comments be like if the epic storyline was all poured into this initial release window? After two weeks max (and that's generous) there would be complaints about it being short, or not EPIC enough, or something. No one is ever satisfied. And I believe, in my own opinion, that to keep the story epic and engaging for the LIFE of the game, it's being parsed out, slowly and in ways not expected. I heard this was a ground breaking game, right? Well, the companion app that I use on a daily basis provides so much information and flavor to this game that isn't on the disc. I'm only speculating here, but maybe that's by design. Maybe, they trimmed that out of the game itself so that people could spend more time playing an FPS MMO styled game as opposed to reading exposition text and viewing cut scenes interrupting game play. (I know, I know, there are some cut scenes already, and people are complaining about those too, wanting to skip them. I get it, it's valid) But to bridge media like that, a game online plus the social media aspect and an app on people's phones? That's pretty exciting that there's that much content and outlets to experience this game. Look, nothing is ever perfect, and not everyone can be pleased 100% of the time. But, for my part, I'm having a great time. I will continue to support this game and this community. Sorry for the rambling.

Well after 10 years on xbox live I thought I had seen every type of game, from the superb Halo (we could argue about which version is best) the brilliant Gears of War and stunning Call of Duty Modern Warfare, to the rubbish 1000 easy points in 5 mins of Avatar. Now Destiny isn't rubbish, but it isn't in the same league as Halo, Gears or COD at their best. Then what do Bungie go and do but make things worse. It's a given that the lack of PvP maps. strike, raids and that ill thought out reward system, wasn't going to win the respect of many experienced players. But your bodging patches are the stuff that legends are made of. I didn't have any disconnect problems until last night, but now I get booted every couple of minutes. I can't play the repetitive raid or strike or the unbalanced PvP maps, accumulate blooms or spins or even a glowing helium in a patrol. Because I get booted. I don't need the helium as a rank 30 Titan and 250+ in my inventory already, but god knows what arse of a decision might be made by BUNGIE in the future, if gamers aren't aligned to your BUNGIE "project goals". Seriously whoever said that needs to take a look at the idiot in the mirror looking back at them. I can see the list now, it must be endless; BUNGIE PROJECT GOAL 343 - alienate lots of gamers. So anyway usually about now after the daily etc. and listening to criticism of the PvP from friends, we have a zoom around for no real reason, all bored of the content saying "chest in here" and "not another green/blue engram" again and again (really annoying that disassembling hundreds of the things there is no point having). Ranking up another gun before discarding, as you Nerf it or it fails to live up to it's exotic promise. Anyway role on COD and HALO as all my friends agree, Destiny is no longer worth investing more time preparing for a CAP uplift of 2. We are all fed up of the antics of BUNGIE (you should really change that to FUDGY or CRAPY or CANTMAKEUPOURMINDIE and brake that last link with a glorious past). In the words of Nietsche "To do is to be" and BUNGIE you should do one.

I have dropped Toland’s Legacy. Three reasons. 1 I am not remotely interest in the Crucible. 2 I am not interest in 25 strike missions plus all the other crap I have to do. 3 IGN says the exotic bounties are not worth the time. And the are right. If you want to impress me, make exotic weapons more available. I am close to dropping the exotic fusion rifle. I have not gotten a single rare fusion rifle in nearly a week. I had high hopes for Destiny. Plus make better use of the vast maps you have. The Subway area on Mars in a baron wasteland. As is the area on Venus with the spaceship. Even the enemies don’t have interest in it since they don’t respawn. I hope Destiny will keep the same effort with the PvE as it does the PvP. Otherwise, Far Cry 4 and Fallout 4 will get my attention down the road. I love Destiny but I DO NOT play the Crucible. So it may be a short game shelf life for me.

Not one to try to shed light on the subject.... but all ive heard is complaining everytime i come here..... no one is making you play this game, if you dont like it you can cut all losses and quit. These games are not built overnight nor fixed... they take time. A game was designed for entertianment, clean competition, and imagination.... not for your the trash going on in everyones lives to become ours. So you have one of two choices really you keep playing this game enjoy it while it lasts, or you can leave and enjoy another game.... as far as im concerned theres nothing more we can do in regards to this.... except let bungie know what the "Real problems" are and hope they can fix them.

No one is hating on destiny, we want destiny to he great, however you can escape the glaring issues. If you Dont mind paying full price for a half game then more power to you. I'm sorry I'm gonna say something about the same 5 strikes that you do over and over again. If that is not a issue than you are the mindless audience they were looking for. I can't look pass gameplay mechanics like trading, or voice chat this is in every single game how does it not make it into a game that is supposed to have a ten year life span. The game can't hold two months. The towers are empty, the worlds are boaring and I complete every strike off of muscle memory. Oh wait wave 1 comes through here wave 2 comes through there and I do it and get nothing for it at the end. Like dude said I have taken on the fusion rifle exotic bounty and I have not receiverld a single fusion rifle since I picked up that exotic bounty. The gunsmith would get some rare before now nothing he doesn't even carry fusion rifles anymore. Again I want destiny to he great I'm stuck with it I got digital, but you can't ignore The issues. Play diablo on ps4 then talk to me that is how legendary gear is done that is the perfect balance of gear drops each drop can be if it your gear in some way in destiny we all look the same where is the customization, where is the gear beyond level 13 why do I still get lvk 13 gear. Why can't I patrol on anything other than lvl 2. Issues , issues , issues. Open your eyes fan boys and understand that the game is good not even close to legend.

I don't understand how we are supposed to keep playing this game once all of the new games come out. You have the nerve to release dlc in December. You have multiple games from now till then why should we continue to play this game. We can't trade, we can't match make on strikes, what if I don't have tons of friends to play plus there is no voice system to meet people in the tower. Why not fix the glaring issues first. I guess you got your money already so it's forget the little guys
