Tell what you think about destiny.
In personal experience this game is incredibly tedious. Farming then raid and nightfall. My personal rating for this would have to be a 6/10. Little things along the way and the repetitiveness to it. Let me know what you all think :) do tell why it deserves the rating you give it

6/10 Considerably less than the sum of it's parts...

I'm going with just about everyone else's rating. 6/10

8.5, I think. Love the hell out of it, but it could be better. Maybe my score is too generous, but, I dunno, comparing the game to others similiar to its obscure "genre", I'd say 8.5. Room to improve with updates and DLC though.

3 Antworten10/10! Its got a great structure to build upon and thats the most important thing.Yeah theres factors of the game that can be improved, but thats every game! This game has frontier-ed into a new era of gaming, its the smoothest mmorpg ive ever played, and its a console game, Personally, I like it. Check out my other idea polls!

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von ELRaSun: 10/21/2014 7:04:03 AMI think reviewers were correct with the 6 or 7 mark. Most of that is owed to ssssssuperb mechanics, they nailed the mechanics almost perfectly. Just needs better collision / hit detection . Fun factor is the other plus. When you're grouped up, you can pretty much almost overlook the fact that you've done this same mission hundreds of times for the same exact bounties and mark rewards. Except the fact that other players are mostly speed running now or returning to orbit right at the beginning.. Current Ideas to get it nearer up to a Perfect 10: -Communication A. Fire teaming is bogged down by clunky Menus B. Communication is bogged down by having to actually minimize the game and use PSN / Live. Need optional in-game alternative. B2. Again, my idea is to have it be a feature of your ghost. L3 + R3 pages the player (if they choose to have it ON) and his / her ghost says, "Incoming Message: Accept or Ignore?" And you can have quick proximity chat (voice or text). Hit L3 and R3 again to quickly jump back in the action and / or End. If you choose to team up, chat stays on. If you choose not to, you move on. -You have to LEAVE the game to do the most important tasks A. Indicate what you're looking to group up for in The Tower would be amazing (the guy on reddit NAILED IT!) B. Adequate chat (see above) C. Reading the Grimoire and Lore (almost every other game has a "Log" in-game which serves the same purpose as grimoire) -The Tower is really more of an inconvenient extra step than a Social Hub A. See social / communication issues B. There's no mini-games or other fun activities C. Bounties can often be the exact same for days on end D. Leveling up The Cryptarch feels rather meh... E. Vanguard Vendors are basically useless once you hit Level 21 E2. The Vanguard Armory seemed like it had a bug for me, for a long time guns were stuck at Level 10, even when I was in the high 20s, then one day it finally clicked over and got some really cool Legendaries though, which is a Good thing. F. Factions are basically rendered useless once you hit Level 28, by Raid Gear. And they NEVER rotate items. F2. Factions seem to have a story and give you patrol missions, but... have no story. F3. If they attached Faction patrols to crafting, it would add so much replay value G. The Shader / Emblem lady... is useless and never updates her shader stock. H. Get a firing range in there to test drive these guns man, lol... I. We can't preview shaders, what in the world? Lol this must've been a simple oversight. -Customization -Character design is limited in every facet and cannot be revisited. -Armor is limited (thanks to light and raid gear you don't simply wear what looks cool) -Ships are useless and all look the same. -Sparrows are useful, but also all look the same. -Economy A. Why so many currencies? Motes Of Light should be an upgrade item. Let the speaker accept strange coins instead. Make it a choice between legendary vanity items or Xur. -Other A. The WAY the Story is told must be re-evaluated B. Bring iron banner back on a more permanent basis. B2. Let The Crucible be College Sports and The Iron Banner be The Major League; in other words scale it but don't nerf it. You should not even be able to get in below Level 20. It gives something new to work towards in the end-game. If everyone is 20 and above, now all kills are fair game. Level 3's killing Level 30's shouldn't happen lol. And One cannot say this is not fair, because if you are Level 8 and you go on Earth Patrol, if you go in a room with some Level 18 Hive Majors, all you are going to see is "IMMUNE" and then "You Died, Killed by Hive Boomer" LOL... C. The Factions have their own PvP modes, use this opportunity to tell a story C2. If it's Their own mode, they could offer special rewards. D. Make strikes more like mini-raids. E. Make Raids an actual story device (the vault of glass is the most intriguing and powerful part of the story so far, yet it's mute the whole time, there's no dialog, no narrative in it at all lol. D. Get some basic crafting F. Perhaps look into some procedural generation for Loot Guns and Ships... 80% of them are re-skins of one another. The other 20% are exotics and the top tier legendaries. G. Allow guardians to trade Directly post-mission. If I get alpha lupi for the 6th time, another titan gets suros regime for the 3rd time, and our 3rd guy is a Hunter and gets exotic Titan boots, then we should be able to trade. By limiting it to this instance, they can still stand by their wanting a story to be attached to the acquisition, while also having mercy on our Vaults.

Bearbeitet von Im On Dregs: 10/21/2014 8:57:07 AM8/10, PvP, production value, and early levels hold it up above 5/10. RNG Loot, lack of story telling and lazy mission design and repetitive strikes are pathetic. If you only play Crucible, or enjoy endless grinding with almost no context, then this would be 10/10 for you. But its so addictive for me! And thats why i love Destiny

7/10 Crucible is really fun. Whole game needs a bunch more content and variety.

1 AntwortenI think it's silly to try and rate the game as a whole. I think you must make two ratings, PVE and PVP. PVE is a solid 8. Story was god awful but the abundance of other options such as strikes and Raids more than made up for it. PVP is a 3. Piss poor job by Bungie in this department. No chat No viable reason to play it besides marks Rewards don't hold a chance in competing with strikes. Lucky if you get a blue in PVP and considering one control match can last as long as a tiger strike now. Balance issues up the wazoo! Random lag Lack of game types No ranking system, epic fail in this No custom games No sandbox Not competitive Basically it's boring Combine the two and honesty if I had to rate it as one. 5.5 Simple fix to this game. Offer a truly competitive playlist, add skill ranks so we see better games. Add chat and customs. Bam problem solved and longevity issues gone!

1 AntwortenI think your lying to yourself with that 6 rating.. Yea there are obvious things that need to be fixed like repetitiveness and lack of story/levels , but what we have so far is so good that your still willing tondo the same Shit over and over again ....for now . Your telling me that your going out if your way to make a post about a game that you rate a 6 out of 10 . I feel like this game deserves about an 8 right now .... From here it could get better or worse...
