No, its not a printed stat and I dont have numbers to back me up.
However, what cannot be denied is that this is the truth. I have a bad habit of checking the profiles of everyone in popular threads when I'm bored.
Most often I see Guardians with a Hunter and a lower level Warlock.
Sometimes i see Guardians with a Warlock and lower level Hunter
Other times i see Guardians with a Warlock/Hunter and obviously discarded Titan
Sometimes, a Hunter with two other Hunter alts(one usually very low - pre10)
Other times, a Warlock with one or two other Warlock alts, same as above
Most times i see a Titan, they have that one account. Usually very high level, 28+, with a high amount of playtime on it. However, when this is the case, they usually have no other alts
Now, what is most rare is, a Titan with 2 other Titan alts. Literally the only three times Ive seen this is when browsing the leaderboards on DestinyTracker.
My first character was a Titan. I thought i was enjoying myself until i reached level 26 and started taking part in Nightfalls and Tiger strikes. I was amazed at what the other classes could do.
Thats when i decided to create a Warlock... loved this warlock so much i got him to 29 in a week and reinvigorated my love for the game.
Lets be honest with ourselves. Titans aren't fun to play. Put aside the 'omg i punch everything including rox' and you have yourselves the most boring class in the game that almost everyone who first rolled a Titan regrets and regards as a precious waste of time.
Once a week I switch to my Titan alt to grind the Nightfall and Raid for gear. It is the most boring chore and it usually only takes less than an hour.

Two of my friends have all three of their characters as titans.

29 Titan here, started as a hunter and got him to 28. Made a Titan and never looked back, it's almost a chore using the hunter for nightfall/weekly and the raid

Bearbeitet von DerekS1776: 10/19/2014 3:45:31 PMAlso lettuce beef real tea with each other. Titans look the best. Who wants a character with a bad case of pink eye(hunter), or a dude wearing man-jamis (warlock)? Its pretty obvious the warlock and hunter are sleeping together. The warlock looked like he just rolled out of bed after farting on the hunters pillow, hence the pink eye.

Maybe you don't play aggressively enough. Titans are most fun when you're charging into battle and smashing everything. Other classes can't really play like that.
-
What about the guy with 2 lvl 20 Titans, who are lvl 29 with all the main gear on !! Gotta best rng and lock out timers with repetition!!!
-
In the beginning there were three of us. I didn't really have a preference to who I was going to be as I thought I would end up with all three. We picked one character each, all different classes, I was the Titan. I have my character up to 27 now. My other two characters, one warlock and a hunter are both level 3's. Got as far as the tower with both of them and then decided I didn't want to go through it all again, so each time I've ended up back with the Titan. I don't really mind. I'm not really in a rush to get anywhere so I just stroll around in the crucible. I barely touch sprint and in the game if I'm not fighting I'm on my sparrow. You can call my Titan 'fat bastard' all he ever does is eat warlocks and hunters for breakfast, so he won't take offence.
-
Disagree. I like using my Titan a lot more than my hunter. I like being the support player that tosses up a shield and helps my fire team in tough areas. Looking forward to creating a warlock soon though.

Bearbeitet von Simmons the Red: 10/19/2014 10:24:30 PMIts sucks that YOU think that the Titan class is boring, I think their great. Heck I use to be one of those people who only play as a Titan until I decided to create a warlock recently. All classes have their advantages. I think Titans are very well balanced for both PVE and PVP when compared to Hunters. Plus Titans are the tanks of the guardians, we can take alot more damage then warlocks and hunters.
-
i chose titan because i like to be the fist that bashes SOB'S in the face lol but ya i created a hunter class not that long, like a month i believe, and only got him to level ten. now he's a level 22 and i gotta say the hunter isn't that bad. i hate the feeling not being a front line soldier, but my titan was getting boring. but the hunter is pretty awesome with the golden gun. three well placed shots and i get a triple down! way more fun like having to save my super in hopes of getting multiple kills and they never come around.
-
It may be true that titan is the least played or reused character type but I think this is based on play style. I love the titan and have sunk all my free time in to mine. They aren't as agile and quick but they have their advantages.
-
Fun is an opinion. I loved getting my Hunter to 30. But I might be having more fun with my Titan(s). And if you don't agree I fist of havoc you.

I don't like the boosters or glide. I think it might seem weird but that was my deciding factor.

5 AntwortenThe only thing that ruins the warlock for me is the freakin glide jump. Coming off my hunter who is a double jumping maniac to the super slow jump is annoying.

I plan to make a titan soon. Just aint got around to it yet. I want the bubble of awesomness.
-
I have 2 titans and its the only class i will play.
-
Disagree, I have 2 titans I love them both tried warlock didn't like it and couldn't stand the hunter Soo I have 2 titans I switch between and my brother plays as the hunter on my account :)

I main a Titan. As many others have said, I feel you have to learn how to steer a Titan in order for them to shine. I don't use Striker in high-level PvE anymore, because my Defender is a much smarter choice. My Striker is, however, dominant in PvP. Shoulder charge is a great skill, and with the transfusion perk selected it activates for every charge kill, so I can ready my super very quickly. You have to know how to use shoulder charge, it takes 4 seconds of sprinting to activate and it is used when chasing down an enemy or getting the jump on someone. If they know you're there, sprinting in just gives them a shotgun kill. Speaking of supers, FoH is one of the most versatile supers imo. I try not to panic super, but if I can get a multikill with it I will. It's also a fantastic counter, whether a bladedancer is headed your way or a warlock just resurrected. It's also a great way to say "no rockets for you" when fighting over heavy ammo. FoH is also fantastic at clearing capture points, and personally I get a huge smile on my face when I see a defender bubble, because it won't be there long. Now on to Defenders. Defenders aren't support, we're saviors. There have been many instances where I have saved an ally (or two) when even an invisible hunter wouldn't have been able to. With weapons of light, I can make the entire team twice as deadly, and effectively double the amount of rockets we fire. Plus, I generate orbs for everyone, and in strikes with lots of adds, we can start an infinite supers loop.

29 Warlock 28 Titan 27(soon to be 28) Hunter
-
6 AntwortenI love my titans and proudly run 3 of them. It's a class with some faults but just feels right for some reason. I played a warlock to around level 10 and hated it, and then a hunter to level 27, I actually liked the hunter but could not devote the time to maxing out a second class. As a Titan I feel line someone that can take a few hits, while not being invulnerable as a BladeDancer often feels. Titans have the potential for amazing feats bit does not hand you a instant win button. Titans take skill to be amazing where as the other classes seem more akin to exceptional feats. The Striker sub class is tricky to use. Nearly useless in any high level content, strikers are vulnerable to any attack, even more so when using their fist of havoc. Strikers fit best in a similar role to blade dancer, quick DPS for when a nearby enemy needs to be taken care of. Defenders are a wonderful class that feels right in a Bungie game. A well armored soldier, able to pop a over shield on himself with a simple punch. With the Ward the defender can proceed a rather large area or just protect himself while he recovers from battle. Defenders can be adapted to use his ward for creating such a safe haven, or oversheild his team mates, or even boost his own damage. Titans (specifically Defenders) are by far my favorite class choice. They are far from a "push button to win" class and give me a rewarding sense of fulfillment when I master something new in a Titan. It makes me very happy that my favorite class is the least popular. Keep playing the same 2 classes and leave the titans to the players who enjoy them and know how to use them.

2 AntwortenI got 3 titans here. Does that make me a special snowflake?
-
1 AntwortenI started as a Titan made a Warlock and a Hunter, but I always use my Titan :)
-
One level 28 Titan (27 atm as I haven't upgraded armamentarium) One level 7 or something warlock
-
I started as a hunter and got it to 28 (not going higher until I get raid gear) now I'm using a Titan which TBH I'm enjoying much, much more in PvE since I can survive getting hit and can actually use my super in a useful way, as for why I think you're not seeing many Titans with alts is simply that Titan is a fairly solid all round class thats fun to play.

I am the fly in your ointment. Started as a Hunter. Rerolled Titan. Haven't looked back. Whether I'm popping a bubble to save downed friends in the Nightfall or HULKSMASHing the entire enemy team in the Crucible, I have had more fun with my Titan than I ever did with paper-thin Hunter. TITANS REPRESENT!

Rolled a hunter he is 27. They are terrible, the jump they have is terrible, the grenades they have are terrible. So I retired him. He is not even playable anymore since my lock was made. Titans at level 12 or so I have gear for him and then we will prolly be best friends.
