No Child Left Behind Generation is Destroying Online Gaming.
I have made a few posts regarding the non stop incessant whining from the community complaining that the game is unfair or unbalanced when they encountered people with the VM. It's sad that they bought a game that advertised role playing progression elements that really made it's selling points focused on becoming legendary through hard work and dedication to getting the best gear the game had to offer.
The VM was the one and only weapon in the game that felt like an exotic, and rightfully so you had to take on Bungie's most challenging content to obtain it, and there was no guarantee it would drop. I don't understand where all of these new generation of gamers are coming from with all the make all guns fair and square or we will bitch non-stop. You really don't want any gun to stand out in a game about striving to obtain better equipment?
If you want every gun to be balanced, and no level differences why in the hell are you playing Destiny, and then complaining until you ruin it for those of us who loved the PVE RPG elements? Isn't there enough games out there that are focused 100 percent on competitive multiplayer where everyone has all the same guns at their disposal? Why can't you play them rather than whine and bitch until you turn Destiny into Halo with Supers?
It's the new generation of gamers all these kid's growing up in the no child left behind programs. They don't want to hear that some people might have worked to obtain advantages that they don't yet have. They all want to be winners, it's sad when hard work gets met with incessant bitching by your fellow community.
P>S> To all posting it was barely nerfed, I have video footage showing that not only was %34 too extreme it was also a lie from Bungie. It now does over 50 percent less damage including headshots. I'm not the only one who has noticed this view reddit they have tons of footage there as well.

The days of the best players in the best guilds would accomplish things you never could, and that's what you would aspire to. Now, there's nothing to aspire to. Nothing to work for. Everything is handed to everyone. So by making all of us super geared and special, none of us are.

I did the raid several times now. I should be handed a gun called the SUROclast. It should 1 shot kill and if I get a headshot one additional person on the enemy team gets killed immediately. Jokes aside, if it was reduced to nothingness then that is taking too far. It should still be a good gun but it shouldn't completely outclass every gun within its optimal range.

Really at the end of the day this is bungies fault. They should be seperating the two game modes. Having unique abilities and varying levels with armor and guns should not be part of pvp. BUT I enjoy it and they should have the iron banner type and then the more skilled oriented pvp. I dont know why they complicated things and jacked with the guns that you use during the regular/coop game mode.

when i saw the title for this thread i lost it. thats how i describe the whole looting system. no skill required in a luck based game. i don't even try any more. i afk most games and still have the same chance of rewards so wats the point. socialistic looting system makes skill worthless. i'm hoping they do something about this, though that may just be wishful thinking.

the same kind of complaining has happened to wow since it started, nerf the druid nerf the lock war is op nerf it on and on and on. im not surprised, right now we have vanilla destiny. it just started. put the whiners on /ignore lol

Honestly iv done plent of pvp and don't have that wep yet but it never stopped me from kicking tail in there I agree with the post gear that good that is earned then put on a shelf from all the complaining just doesn't seem right to me either, mind u I don't have it and still agree with the poor guys who worked to get it

I will probably get burned for saying this but they could of just nerfed it in PVP where it was OP and left it as is in PVE where it sounds like it was a god send. No I have not been lucky enough to get it yet.

The gun was overpowered and need to be fixed. This game gives no shits about rpg elements. All the top tier gear max out at the same damage and the same armor value. BTW finding someone on the forums with an aetheon hard mode checkpoint then pushing him off the edge doesnt count as hard work, actually playing the game and getting good with balanced guns is hard work, and you are rewarded for that. now that guns in destiny are actually balanced ill be laughing as i shit on kids like you who think just because you have friends to do a raid with or have good rng you deserve an advantage in PVP.
