Honestly, the community of this game is ridiculous. Every time I come to the forums, there's so many idiots on about nerf this, nerf hunters, Atheon glitch is working as intended.... Here's a news flash. Try playing a REAL MMO once before you Halo, CoD, BF, and other FPS fanboy, rage-a-holic morons come to a game and ruin it with your incessant whiny attitudes. I enjoyed this game for awhile, until I read the forums and saw why things were changing. Here's my example. I finally earned a Vex Mythoclast earlier this week. I was so happy, and started power leveling it immediately. Then, I check the forums, and see everyone who doesn't own it, complaining about it being overpowered. Well, it SHOULD be. I'm not saying it should be so broken overpowered to the point it is a clear winner over everyone, but hey, it wasn't. Much more skilled players could kill me with Hand Cannons, and select AR's and Pulse Rifles. Why? Because they have SKILL. They also understand this isn't CoD, and running right out in the open and trying to take down a team of 5 solo is not plausible. And now, its being nerfed by 34% in damage. 34 friggin percent. That's a huge chunk of damage to nerf on one of the best guns in the game. Now, if this change reflects ONLY in PvP, I will be ok with it. But I fear the tears of jealous children will cause it to be a flat 34% reduction, thus rendering it worthless in PvE, which is a huge letdown, because I loved it moreso in PvE than PvP. On top of that issue, add in the people defending Atheon glitch. Here's a newsflash: If you think pushing him off the ledge is a legitimate tactic, and/or intended in any way......you REALLY should stop playing video games. Or take courses on common sense. No fight, in any MMO style game, or loot game for that matter EVER had the intention of saying "Well guys, let's just make it possible to push this boss right off the edge. Clearly that's what we wanted done here". Don't even attempt to say "Well there is no statement" and "This is my game, I can play it how I want". Because, hey, guess what. It should be 10000000% obvious its NOT intended, and technically, you don't own your character. Its on their servers. They can ban you and GG, you are screwed. You are playing their game, on their servers, technically for free. PS+ isn't factored in since that is a Sony money ploy if you ask me. Regardless, stop acting like its supposed to be there. There is a load of multiple game issues itself, but really, repetition and other stuff is dealt with easy for me. I just hate seeing such a self-entitled, moronic community trying to shape a game how they see fit. Not every game is the same. As casual of an approach as they are taking it, I'm shocked they nerfed any gun just so the Crucible crybabies will be satisfied. You want my fixes for all of this? Don't nerf Mythoclast. Make players learn how to play better. Add in some PvP gear that is harder to obtain than random rewards or from Ranks and marks, so maybe they too can get weapons that are SUPPOSED to be a higher "tier" and be better, such as a Mythoclast, but in PvP form. Even then, everyone has the chance to go get Mytho. They just wont, because its not their cup of tea, or lack time. But they clearly have enough time to cry about said gun, and play Crucible enough to see it. I know I said I'd quit, and its such a shame. I was having fun with it until I read the upcoming hotfixes. For the bugged bosses, great. Bout time. For nerfing ANY gun in the Crucible, tsk tsk. I fear the toxic, shitty community will gradually shape this game into just another boring, meaningless FPS much like CoD, BF, and the likes. I enjoyed the mild story elements and raid, but why bother doing the raid when the loot is basically on par with lvl 24 strike grinding marks out? If anyone from Bungie reads this, do most of us a favor. Stop catering. Maybe your game that is supposed to last for such a long time, will make it at least a fifth of your estimate. Edit: I find it hilarious people just randomly ignore the entire parts of me trying to agree with balancing and PvP alternatives.
