Thanks Bungie, that's the 4th exotic weapon bouty I had to abandon...you guys are great...
So, after getting the Invective bounty that requires 25 more K+A than D for the 4th time and atempting stage 3, getting those 25 more PvP K+A's, I abandoned it again. As my score waivered between 0 and 6 for about 10 matches, for the 4th time, I realized that I will NEVER be able to do the bounty.
Does that mean I do not deserve the gun? Am I unworthy? If you think so, first, you need to rethink your priorities, and second, you are probably a loser. I say that because if you think you should have to prove yourself in a video game, you are probably really good at it. It would give you a great sense of self-worth if you thought only the best should be able to complete these feats and yet, you have done so. So, if you get your sense of self-worth from a game, you are a lower. Unless we are talking about a professional sport.
Further, you are missing the point of the video game. It's a game, A -blam!-ING VIDEO GAME, A MEANINGLESS GAME WITH NO REAL LIFE IMPACT. This is NOT REAL LIFE, it's a GODAMM GAME!!
Meant for entertainment and enjoyment, NOT meant for proving oneself worthy of something, like a college degree. Because, after all, IT'S JUST A -blam!-ING GAME!!
For anyone that thinks these bounties whould be hard and not everyone should be able to do them, you are totally missing the pooint. I'm not going to say it again....
In real life, not everyone can be a doctor, lawyer, engineer.....you have to go to college, pass certifiction tests, etc....because IT IS REAL LIFE, NOT A -blam!-ING GAME. Doctors, lawyers, engineers have REAL and important responsibilities. If a doctor makes a mistake, someone could die, a lawyer screws up and an innocent man goes to jail, an engineer -blam!-s up and a bridge falls down. So, and understandably so, ONLY THE BRIGHTEST AND BEST can do these things. Because THERE ARE REAL LIFE IMPLICATIONS TO THEIR ACTIONS, AFFECTING OTHER PEOPLE.
Destiny, however, IS JUST A -blam!-ING GAME, with NO real life implications. It doesn't matter how good or how bad you are at the game. IT means LITERALLY NOTHING. So,,,,whehter you have that exotic weapon or not MEANS NOTHING.
If I pay $60 like everyone els,e I EXPECT TO ENJOY EVERYHTING IN THE GAME. Because, after all, IT'S JUST A -blam!-ING VIDEO GAME.
Who the -blam!- do you guys at Bungie think you are? You're like the bully in the playground telling the geeks that they can't play football wth you b/c they are not good enough. Are you guys that arrogant and insecure? Well, ya know what? -blam!- YOU!
You might have fooled millions into buying this piece of shit game in day one, but all those that were fooled will not be fooled again. You may have sold many copies this round, but wait and watch the player activity DROP when Borderlands, CoD and Halo hit the street. I love the negative rviews, the 4/10's, the people bashing your shit game, and everyone talking about the only reason they play is their friends on the game because when those friends get sick of the bullshit, everyone goes. And sales for Destiny 2 will suck on day one because veryone now knows the truth...you got nothing left.

Honestly, unlike everyone who says they got it done within a match, I had a hard time too, but I had a friend watch my beck and it became extremely easy, because he had it too, we almost split the reward and got it done at the same time.

Managed that one in one game the first time. Took three games the second time. I am far away from being awesome in PvP. :p it is doable, just stick with it.

I had the same issue with the Thorn bounty, abandoned it on my Titan and now have it on my Warlock along with the Invective and Bad Juju. After several crucible games I have 6500/10000 for the bad juju, 2/25 for the invective and 16/500 for the Thorn. I will likely get my 2nd bad juju this week and the invective seems like it could happen before the Thorn. I am really tired of them taking up my bounty slots. I have already abandoned 3 exotic bounties since then because I have all I want. once I get these I will abandon all the exotic bounties I get as soon as I get them since by then I will have all the rewards I want.

Soo. TL;DR... But from what I did read it sounds like you're really frustrated. Makes sense. Try getting thorn. That one is even worse, but like with all things you have to practice. I'll be the first to admit my pvp ability is horrible. Look at my stats, but I slogged thru and I've gotten better over time. There are still people who are way better at this game than they really should be, but good for them. Play some PvP without the bounty, learn the maps and the tactics that best work with your class and gun of choice. Once you can get over 1.0 k/d more often then not, try the bounty again. Just takes time.

You gave up on that pretty quick, didn't you? I had the same issue on my Thorn and Bad Juju bounties at first, but I kept playing. Eventually I realized I was shit at rumble and decided to switch to Control - I figured, if nothing else I could camp on a zone to stay out of the line of fire and just try to get kills on who ever came at me there. I still sucked at first, I was still only getting a few points per game, but at least I wasn't losing progress any more. I kept at it, and the longer I played, the more kills I got on average per game. By the end I was actually finishing first or second in some games. No one is good at PvP the first time the try it, the key is to practice.

I stopped reading mid way through the first paragraph. Invective (or any shotgun) is only useful in PvP. You clearly can't PvP. Even if you get it you have to PvP to get the best use out of it. Don't worry about it. The exotic bounty weapons are the worst of the exotics. You're not missing much!

So you suck, but you feel your entitled to a gun that requires you to be bad to get? When I say you're required to be bad, I mean just that. It takes next to NO skill to complete that bounty (so bad kids can do it) and if you can't do it the you don't deserve the gun. I mean hell, if you had your way then bungie should offer all the raid gear at a special vendor who gives away free gear, because some people might have a hard time getting enough glimmer to pay for it. stop crying scrub

While I agree this is only a game, and definitely don't lose any sleep over the guns I am simply not good enough to get, you seem to care all too much. Maybe you should think about a different game that doesn't require you to shoot moving targets. You're not being punished for your lack of competitive skill. How can you even think that you deserve to call the people on this forum losers? Really? After not only did you try your hardest at completing the exotic bounty, YOU DID SO 4 TIMES! Obviously you're a hypocrite, and you're just like the people you so easily call "losers" and "lower" than everyone else. Quit complaining because you suck at PvP. It's not like that's the only exotic bounty there is. And if you try and counter that statement with "Well i've already completed the others, I wanted to do this one", then that shows further how much of a hypocrite you are because obviously you are that into the game. You are just a young ignorant rager. You are not worthy of that exotic weapon. And yeah, exotic bounties ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DIFFICULT. It's not just a walk in the park. If you can't do it, give up then. If you want to lash out at the community because you can't accept that your failure was your fault, then you aren't the kind of person we want here.

I work 40 hours a week and rarely play this game and I managed to complete invective in about 50 minuets and thorn in an hour And a half. I think when you say being good makes you a loser you are being small minded. I keep a girlfriend who's extremely happy to be with me. I keep a job down and I manage a small social life and I still rip at this game. I rip at every game I play and that's not big headed ness it's me saying I dedicate enough time when I can to play games I love and get good. I tenth prestiges call of duty up to black ops 2. I sold 50s for pocket money in college on halo 3. I beat majoras mask at like 10 week one and I have friends now who never even got fierce deity. I've always been good at games. If you can't beat a challenge set for you. Don't insult everyone and start shit with people you don't know because you're annoyed. It's childish. Not that I care I'm just saying I think it's a bit silly and if you didn't abandon it you might have done it with some effort.
