This whole earners vs. buyers thing is false rhetoric. Strange Coins are earned. Then you use them to purchase equipment. Since the currency used is earned over time, it's earned. Drops are completely random. Pete in the picture below didn't contribute at all but was the most well rewarded out of the bunch. Did he earn that Legendary? If you answer yes to that question, you're only lying to yourself. 1 AntwortenYeah but not VoG items. So, it's like you either get lucky in normal content or save ur coins. But the vex, hawkmoon etc are only in VoG.

11 AntwortenI don't get it, Ice breaker is god awful, that stability is extremely bad. Any sniper can fire 2 bullets while the Ice Breaker fire once. Supremacy > Raid Sniper > Ice Breaker. I prefer the Raid Sniper mostly in PvP.

please bring back Suros...:) I have a drop Shadow Price maxxed out I use regulary in PvE, but still want a Suros in the arsenal... Also the Hunter Achlyophage Symbiote helmet...

1 AntwortenThere have already been numerous comments going either way, so forgive me if you feel like I have simply restated something. But Earning Vs. Buying IS a little harsh. The Strange coins used to buy weapons from Xur are only obtained from: 1) Weekly Missions, which must be played on Lvl. 26 or 28 to earn coins swiftly, 2) Decoherent or Legendary Engrams, or 3) Crucible rewards. And you msut kill a SIGNIFICANT amount of enemies to have a good chance at getting them from Engams, or spend hours grinding in The Crucible. The only other way to earn exotic weapons is by completing as many bounties as you can in hopes of earning an exotic weapon bounty. Isn't that also relying on the same luck mechanism as obtaining engrams or getting Crucible loot? And yes, while it may be a tough challenge once you obtain the bounty, it takes more than one weeks worth, and in many cases two weeks worth, of weekly mission on Lvl. 28

I dropped the Thorn bounty. Seemed like to much effort after I spent time to get the exotic machine gun that I don't use.

21 AntwortenDude have you tried to get the Thorn handcannon in an exotic bounty? Monsters are Over powered to the Nth degree for the last part of it. Too much aggravation to acquire.

So many people are going to whine and cry about their "hard-earned", randomly looted items being offered for currency that people ACTUALLY earned. I think the root of the issue is that they don't want to share.

2 AntwortenI just got Universal Remote for beating Atheon on normal. So I would be pissed if he sold it! Actually I wouldn't mind if he sells it this weekend. That just means I can save my coins for something else like weapons and armor the next weekend or the sparrow upgrade.
