FALLOUT 4
I just wanted to get a quick poll, as I personally can not wait for the next installment in the Fallout series. Sound off below if you guys have any ideas you want to share
EDIT: Fallout has the best soundtrack of any game ever. If you disagree, I have no problem blatantly telling you your opinion is wrong. I will even support my opinion with more opinions. ;)
EDIT 2.0: This thread belongs in #Destiny because it is our destiny to play Fallout 4. Another reason is that the meh game that is Destiny makes me want Fallout 4 even more.

From a lyrical music standpoint I agree fallout soundtracks are head and shoulders above the rest I even own them there great in my opinion but from a music composition stand point the final fantasy series hands down

14 AntwortenFallout 3 had terrible writing and lacked in gameplay and mechanics, but it had an amazing setting. Fallout: New Vegas had a terrible setting, but it had amazing writing, better gameplay, and lots of new mechanics. I want Fallout 4 to be a mix of both. Last I heard, Bethesda wasn't developing Fallout 4, but had outsourced it to another studio to develop. Hopefully they're as good as Bethesda in terms of world building and Obsidian in writing and story. The only problem I'm going to have with it is that it's going to use the same engine as Skyrim, which is just a patched Gamebryo (patched NetImmerse) engine. I wish they'd license a better engine or create one from scratch that actually works well with the games they develop (having dealt with Papyrus, I hope they choose the former).

I think Crysis 2, Ace Combat 5, Halo Reach and Kingdom Hearts all have some pretty stellar OSTs but I've never given the music in Fallout a try :3 still there's a lot competition for best so I wouldn't hand it all to Fallout just yet.
