Every hunter that uses arc blade in PVP tries to say it isnt OP. Which is BS.
The only way to stop an arc blade is a shotgun shell to the dome and a quick melee (which you still die), or another super.
I shouldnt have to use my titans super to counter one person that can use his to clear out a team by just clicking the attack button.
It is OP, very few things counter it and the ones that do counter it, you end of dying along with them anyway, which isnt fair.

1 AntwortenActually requires common sense thee than Titan and warlocks just using their panic button to kill 1 person that started shooting them :) gg hunters win

Then we should be able to stop a super from happening with an arc blade melee or a golden gun shot, but wait, when you activate your super, I can only take your shields down when you're in your cute little animation?

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von HawkeDK: 10/10/2014 12:49:43 PMbla bla bla bla... My father is stronger then yours.. Just sell your game! You will not use your super on another super. You lose.. If you use your super against Arc Blade the hunter will lose. Hunters super have a timer on, so it's not even sure that they kill any. You can use your in a panic mode, a hunter needs to plan his attack, and have some skills to use it. Hunters need to be close to you to kill you, you can kill people from distance. You can fly, he can jump, you can revive your self and kill him and your hand grenade is not OP? Ask yourself again, are Hunters OP. If you have so much against them, be a hunter - "If you can't beat them, join them" Best Regards A Hunter

I dont have to i dont need it to own your ass ;) gunslinger bitch # throwing knife in your face BAMMMM!!!!!!@!

29 lock and 28 hunter here. Can confirm that warlocks super is better in pvp, both of them. I can jump into a room and void bomb everyone and get 4 kills easy. Sunsinger is even better, defending a flag solo I can pop dmg reduction ult, cover both entrances with 2-3 nades and laugh as I watch the kills roll in while I t-bag. I don't even have to shoot a single round. 2 nades kills someone faster than they can even react, not to mention I take reduced dmg and I have a melee shield.
-
Oh no, you had to use a super to kill a bladedancer, that's so much worse than using a super and dying 2 seconds later because warlocks and titans become essentially invincible when they use theirs. I even had my super vanish yesterday. Used it, was about to jump into a group of people and half a second after I started up arc blade it just went away. I didn't use it up, it didn't run out, I was taken out of it for no reason. Seeing as everyone in this game is using SUROS, if you keep dying to hunters you are a scrub. The name of the game for me is close quarters combat. If you can't kill me with your exotic gun before I get close you deserve to die.
-
But the fact that Warlocks shoot space bombs from their fingers and can reincarnate themselves is just fine. Quit your bitchin' Nancy.
-
Yes but said Titan has shoulder charge that is an instant kill as well as a super that can kill the whole team as well the main thing that makes it not as severely over powered as everyone claims is if I kill you calling your super in you respawn with it still able to be used where as with the hunter if you die right as you try to call it in it is gone all of the characters are actually rather well balanced you just have to adapt and find their weaknesses

I have gunned down numerous Arc blazers with my TLW. I play BD for the active Camo not the arc blade.: )

17 AntwortenBearbeitet von Eon: 10/10/2014 12:30:04 PMIt should work like the Golden Gun and be limited to 3 kills in PvP

I don't try and justify it. In truth, I use Gunslinger more in PVP and Arc Blade for PVE. Each their own. All the supers seem pretty "OP" to me - which they're made to be. When you say "very few things counter it" - you do recognize that both the Warlock and Titan offensive supers will beat it every time right? That is unless you have the reflexes of a 3 toed sloth.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Jordanary: 10/10/2014 1:20:33 PMI'm not a Hunter, I also don't PvP much, And I can say a solid shotgun shot, sniper headshot or even just a rocket launcher can end a Hunter. I've done it many times. I'll admit, It's much better in PvP in some situations, It's very rare that a blade dancer is going to manage taking out an entire enemy team. rather than 3, but that is the 3 peoples fault. Because obviously a shotgun, plus 2 more shotguns is going to entirely demolish a Blade Dancer. The amount of hate towards Hunters in the PvP side of this game is insane. I haven't leveled a hunter past level 13, But I plan to. I feel like too many people in the Crucible are just enraged that this game has a variety. Nerfing the Blade Dancer would ruin them even more in PvE, so that's quite the negative since they're already "not the greatest" in PvE. Not everything revolves around PvP. It's way too whiny in all honesty, Because a well placed Ground pound or Slam dunk from a Titan or a Warlock can also entirely obliterate an entire enemy team, It just takes a situation, and it's instant. With a Blade Dancer taking out an entire enemy team, That's entirely different, because they all actually genuinely have a chance to unload on the Blade Dancer before it takes out more than 2 of them. Everything depends on the given situation. But saying that, Doesn't mean that the Titan or the Warlock is OP because they can pull off something quite astounding in a situation, Because it requires a decent to above average player to pull it off. To be entirely honest, Blade Dancers aren't good against bosses in PvE, because most bosses have a ground pound that destroys their health. And Gunslingers only have 3 shots, that doesn't entirely do THAT much damage. I'd say they're underpowered unless a situation is being given to them. So don't complain because you let yourself get put into that situation, Nerfing the Hunter because they're "overpowered" in PvP would ruin them in PvE. Then you'd just see more Hunters in PvP. That's not something you want.. Don't be that guy...

I've killed blade dancers with my fusion rifle followed by a melee. The point of Blade Dancer is that it takes advantage of panic and unaware opponents. Most people fall victim to the former or sometimes are part of the latter. I'm giving this feedback from the perspective of a Titan Defender subclass - the epitome of what Blade Dancers counter, yet I rarely have issues with them. This is a pvp game, you just need to learn how to deal with them. Pro tip: Blade Dancers have a unique sound and animation that you can hear and spot if you're anywhere in range (even behind walls). Just equip a good short range weapon or run away before they spot you. In case you didn't read it, I primarily use Titan with Defender subclass and haven't played Hunter in PVP.

We defend it because we use it and know how it is. It's all about timing. And actually is very easy to die unlike titans or warlocks panic button special.

Bearbeitet von SiLvErWaRe000: 10/10/2014 1:37:40 PMHas anyone ever thought of running away and living to fight another day? I mean really that is a strategy I just turned into Superman with a knife and your thought is, "I can take 'em!" Then Superman puts you down and you're mad. As other people have stated it's a super, it isn't supposed to be easy to counter. EDIT: Each super has a chance to kill an entire team, but the situation has to be setup for it. Arc Blade usually only gets me two kills maybe three sometimes it's been one or none.
-
You can use primary to kill it. Its easy, all that bs about op bd haha. Anyways gunslinger all the way!
-
It's a super, they are all powerful. It's supposed to be like that...
-
I killed someone in arc blade with the arc blade GOML
-
As a titan you can kill an entire team in one second from a long distance if you have the right powers selected. Its a super, its supposed to be OP.
-
As a Titan I couldn't think of a good way to counter that.
Except just don't be near the guy with the big knife and shoot him.
-
Keep crying. I'll be using your tears to power up my arc blade.
your so salty bruh
Bearbeitet von Zarda: 10/10/2014 1:02:03 PMI hit a Titan a spilt second before he entered the room at a control point and the moment he felt it, he supered and I was toast. My super wasted in the blink of an eye. This like... just happened in one of my last matches. They get a defense buff while activating FoH as it is, but now apparently sprinting into a room and hitting LB+RB gives you an even bigger window of one. Joy. Looking forward to the hunter nerfs so that more people can start running around doing that. Oh and Novabomb.
-
Yeah, the Arc Blade is pretty silly, but there's a lot about the PvP that's pretty silly. Just try and deal with it.

2 AntwortenWhile I do think the AB could use a tweak so could the TITAN's I runs TITAN and I tell ya the amount of times I can run 3foot build up my shoulder charge and just OHK ppl is barring on ridiculous I have had 20 kills in one match from SC hell if I see an enemy coming I run the other way just to build it up. All classes are OP in there given situations it's just a balance of finding a counter.
-
It's not OP at all... It actually takes skill to use. With the warlocks and titans you just point and people die. And in the unlikely event you get killed while trying to do your super, it is still there when you respawn. With arc blade you can get killed as soon as you activate it and then it goes completely to waste. Example being I've used many only to find someone run round the corner and kill us both with a rocket launcher.
