My secret to my strange coin fortune.
I see many people on this forum saying that the weekly strike is only 9 coins and that they are SOOOOO hard to get before Xur rolls up in his new Bugatti.
Well today, kiddies, I'm going to teach you ol' Tac's secret. Sit down, grab some milk and maybe even a few cookies, and enjoy.
Step 1.
Raise a character to level 28 or even as low as level 27! This is not a tough feat, plenty of people have managed it. And many more will now that legendaries are easier to acquire.
Step 2.
Make another character who is the same class as your previously mentioned character.
Step 3.
Raise this character to level 20. This is not hard AT ALL. I can do it in about 5 hours of gameplay. Here's how: Do the bounties. Have a friend run you through the heroic story. Setting a mission to heroic gives more exp on finish.
Step 4.
Repeat Step 3.
Step 5.
Do the weekly heroic strike on your first character.
Step 6.
Do the weekly heroic strike on your second character.
Step7.
Do the weekly heroic strike on your third character.
BLAMO! 27 strange coins per week for the rest of your destiny days. Isn't that grand?!
Buy whatever you want from Xur every single week! Overpopulate destiny with exotics that you earned from maybe 1 day of work! WOO!
Now you know the secret. Have fun being the equivalent of a billionaire in Zimbabwe.

1 AntwortenHonestly this is nothing. In the pc mmo world, people would play with 2 characters at once or even 3 at once. A healer, a buffer, and a tanker. With 3 screens and a powerful cpu or 3 pc's, he could make his own party, buff himself, and heal himself. If the person was good, he could do really hard quests that required teamwork, and finish them by himself because of his hardware set up. The term of doing this is dual boxing. Which is playing the game on 2 screens on 2 different characters at the same time.

I made 2 other characters since they had exotics waiting for them at 20. Much more fun and you won't be pissed when you decode your engram!

4 AntwortenI highly don't recommend this. For one, it will take away from the satisfaction once you do hit level thirty. Two, what do you have to look forward to once you are a level thirty? Three, spend your time building the other characters. I just built a hunter 3 days ago and like him surprisingly more than my Titan who is a 29. Not sure what it is but I wreck people in the crucible with my hunter. Four, with Bungies constant changes to the game, you never know who will get nerfed/buffed so it's best to have a reserve just in case.

5 AntwortenYou can't swap coins in the vault between another character of a different class, only the same? That sucks cause I ain't wasting my time grinding away at another Titan. Was hoping to build a Warlock and trade materials between them.

2 AntwortenMaybe I'm wrong but I figured they didn't allow trading to put the kibosh in rmt (real money trading) doing things among your characters, even trading things I highly doubt conflicts with the tos and I hope doesn't rank high on Bungies nerf/ban hammer list.

3 AntwortenSo leveling up two characters to 20 and enjoying the game again in story and crucible is an exploit? Destiny is a loot based game and people will work hard to get their loot. You have to earn your strange coins every week and people who earn them out the effort into earning them. If you don't want them then don't do it. This isn't an exploit or a glitch, it's the way the game was meant to be. Heck it actually helps people who don't have hours and hours to play to still come back and enjoy the game multiple times a week for the heroics and raids/nightfalls AND AT THE END OF THE DAY THE PEOPLE WHO COME BACK ARE THE ONES WHO WILL CONTINUE TO PLAY AND SUPPORT DESTINY, NOT NOOBS WHO CRY ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE AND WHAT THEY DONT.

5 AntwortenFigured that out awhile back but other than that what's the point in having three chars when your supposed to be immersed in one. And that element dies as soon as you rez. Plus they'll have to come up with something more rare than exotic the way this is going. We can't trade bc you "earn" what you get. With all our gameplay hours I say everyone's earned an exotic weapon even if u dnt have one. They are so afraid of duping yet this exploit seems like the alt. is it me or is this game hypocritical?

I rather... Get 3 different chars with different classes and lvl them up to 25-27... Screw switching around armor, you will have 6 sub-classes to switch from... Oh and when ever you get that exotic/legendary that isn't for your main character, you will laugh at those crying over getting armor not for their class. At the end you will still be able to do the weekly heroic 3 times a week.

I new about that a while ago I just thought once you complete it with one character you won't be able to do it for any others.
