Legendary weapons from nightfall rewards [input wanted]
EDITED: I was mad when I wrote this but I simply want your input on this and I want to know if you're in the same boat as me.
I know this is not going to happen but what if they removed legendary gear from nightfall rewards to make it equal for everyone.
I'm sure I'm not the only unlucky one who's got nothing but legendary rewards every time they did the nightfall and there's nothing worse in this game IMO than getting a legendary reward when you did just as good a job as the two who got exotics.
I even created my other 2 characters and beat it with them for another chance at getting exotics and still nothing.
If they don't remove legendary weapons from the possible rewards, I think they should up everyone else's reward if 1 player gets an exotic, that way it's fair for everyone.
And people in my situation will have an incentive to keep playing the game rather than just wait for the daily reset for another shitty legendary to dismantle.
Here's how it goes for me.
Week 1
Player 1 exotic helmet
Player 2(joins our game) exotic hand cannon
Me legendary shotgun
Week 2
Player 1 Exotic AR
Player 2 Exotic Helmet
me Legendary Shotgun
second attempt Legendary engram
Week 3
Nobody got exotics (finished it with my 3 characters) 2 legendary weapons and 9 strange coins
Week 4
I solo it and get a legendary scout rifle.

1 AntwortenWhy would you want only exotics in the first place? You can equip how many of those again? Oh thats right, ONE (per armor and per weapon). Tell me again how its better to constantly get exotics and be forced to use 2 blue rares for your other weapons because you can't find legendaries? (One of my friends is still mad he has yet to see a single legendary heavy weapon of any type) Its not like exotics are so much better or anything, they both have the same max damage, exotics just have an extra unique thing about em to help out. Hell some exotics are even underpowered and Bungie is planning on buffing them in the future.

6 AntwortenSo, let me get this straight.... 1) You didn't get anything but Legendary items, while others got Exotics 2) You feel like you did as good, if not better in each Nightfall you ran, therefore you are more entitled to the same/equivalent gear Are you that same kid driving that WHAAAAmbulance up and down my street all day and night? You're probably part of that same Clown Wagon that complains about "n00bs" getting rewarded in PVP while others aren't, right? Dismantling Legendary items and getting Ascedant Materials isn't good enough for you? "I didn't get what I wanted, therefore, all rewards should be removed, mmmkay?" Sound about right, King of the Snowflake children?

I haven't gotten anything from nightfall n I beat it twice BY MYSELF! but didn't get anything. I heard the rewards were awesome but not for me.

Umm, what? Wait a second....who got what? Who didn't get it? The nerve of them! Let's Nerf it all! Plenty of people don't get the drops, the same goes for me. If someone in my group gets something and I don't, I don't rage the forums for a Nerf and that's what you're doing. So put on your big boy pants and go try again or stop playing Destiny.

1 AntwortenI got suros from it last week, was the first time the dudes I roll with could keep up and do it. This week I got the new monarchy AR, which I had bought yesterday or the day before, and so did another guy in my group. Last guy got ice breaker though. Last week a dude got last word in my fire team and said he didn't even want it. I've been craving a last word since day 1, never been so sad.

I was lucky enough to get the Monte Carlo to drop for me in nightfall last night. The first time I ever got an exotic from a legendary engram. The week before was just a legendary chest piece that was worse than my current so I was able to at least get some shards out of it.

I ran Nightfall for the first time on my 28 Titan and recieved HardLight Exotic AR Ran it a second time for the first time on my warlock - 8 Ascendant ENERGY (I have no luck getting shards at all. Over 30 Energies) But hey, I play slightly aimlessly - never chasing one thing - I take it on one step at a time and its working in my favor (Y)

You'll hate me for it but, RNG RNG RNG. Keep at it and maybe you'll get lucky some time. I went through most of the first three weeks without a single legendary weapon. Sure I got two exotic bounties, but only one of those weapons (pocket infinity) I would actually use in a raid (Thorn is just not good enough for a raid imo). And then all of a sudden it almost literaly rained legendaries. I got two pieces of legendary armor for my Warlock, a Raid piece for my Hunter, a Fire Legendary Scout Rifle, a Leg LMG, a Leg Rocket Launcher, and an exotic Sniper from the Nightfall. So in the end it is all RNG, and we all get boned by it some times. I don't believe the Nightfall needs any changes because if you stick with it you'll probably go on a winning streak like me. Personally I don't think more than a handful of the Exotics I've seen are even worth having since most of the Legendaries have really good abilities too.

Got legenday shotgun and legendary scout rifle. After busting my balls to beat it. And shards and energy. Never saw an exotic

I did Nightfall for the first time yesterday evening and got the Thunderlord LMG. He'll I'd have been happy with a Legendary Primary too.

I've found Universal Remote, Exotic Hunter Gauntlets, Exotic Warlock Helm, Legendary void rocket and a legendary void sniper in my 5 attempts so far. The rewards seem fine to me, the players on my team have always gotten similar rewards as well. Guaranteed exotics would get boring as you can only equip 2. I need more legendaries with varying damage types on them or Ascendant materials instead.
