I've had plenty of guys comment on how I'm female and that I probably don't know how to play videogames or work a controller, I understand and accept that I'm not the best player out there, but it isn't because I have a pair of tits and a vagina. I can confirm most of this, although I've had far less issues as an adult than I did when I was a younger gamer. This makes sense, as I only play with adults now. Most of what you posted correlates (for me) with talking to boys (children under 18) online. Men, however, I have had no issue with thus far.

Sooo....why do you care again? There's a mute button for a reason. It's for everyone, it's not sexist. Use it. Mute the guys who make the jokes and laugh. Making a post on these forums is just going to attract trolls, jerks, and idiots, as well as the few consoling souls that prowl the internet. Every time I say I'm German online, some guy makes a half-baked joke about how I need to use the MP40 to "honor my culture" or some [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] joke like that. But I don't go online and post 6 stereotypes about German gamers. I mute him and move on with my life.

This made me laugh because most of it is very true. The only reason I say most is because do eat, shit and fart games and can talk about them all day. I could happily do a pitch document, story board etc just for the fun. Most male gamers I have played with and know that I am a lady are wonderful and treat me just like any other gamer. There are exceptions, like in most things, but that is why there is a block button :) Edit: I disagree with the women's outfits part as well. You would hate to see how I had my Saints Row 4 character XD
