VEX MYTHOCLAST RUINING GAME
If you don't know already, people have already beat the raid on hard difficulty and have gotten the most OP gun in the game. The VEX MYTHOCLAST. The gun shoots out fusion rifle shots. The gun has a 21 round magazine and is a semi auto. The gun is a 4 shot kill in pvp and who knows what in pve. You NEED to nerf this no matter what. Just watch the video you will see.
Edit: shoots fusion rifle shots not pulse rifle.

You need to change the title of your thread. It seems as though you mean it is ruining PvP rather than the game in general.

Funny thing is only about 10 people in the world have this gun. This may have increased but as far as I've heard it's 10 people.

5 AntwortenDoing good/getting lucky in PvE should not make you OP in PvP. There's always talk about how people who use shotguns/auto rifles/fusion rifles/sniper rifles/etc.. are complete noobs and have no skill in PvP, yet whenever the Vex Mythoclast comes up, people change their minds completely: "BUT THEY EARNED IT, THEY'RE NOT PVE TRYHARDS THAT ONLY DO WELL IN PVP BECAUSE THEY'RE BEING SCRUBS BY USING AN OVERPOWERED WEAPON, NOOOOO. THEY'RE LEGIT." Yeah. Idiots.

OP I don't think the weapon needs a nerf and I disagree with your arguement. I faced one recently and it was pretty even for most of the match against my thorn. In my opinion I think you can't appreciate the weapon and may be tad jealous cos you don't have it. So some helpful advice, grow up.

No they don't. They just need to make sure you can't use it in PVP. Why have a freaking awesome gun like that, then nerf it into the ground?

1 AntwortenSimple fix: Balance the Mytho in standard PVP. Keep it as is for Iron Banner and PVE. People do raise a good point that it shouldn't be nerfed, because it is so hard to earn and so [b]RARE[/b] However this gun defeats the purpose of removing level and gear advantages from traditional PVP. Also removes damage balancing, where a level 1 gun can do as much damage as a level 20 exotic in certain cases.

They earned it. If you want it, then play the raid on hard. Then you may have it drop and won't be complaining. Problem solved.

I have only seen one person with it and I have played like over 300 games. It's not a game breaker by any means, do you know how hard it is to get?

have you been killed by it and how many times have you personally been in a game with one? destiny tracker says a handfull of people have it i see more raid shotguns and aetheons epilogue than anything (not to mention suros regime)

Honestly, this weapon should just be banned from Crucible altogether. I don't want it nerfed because it's gonna be godlike in the Moon raid (Hive wizards? What wizards?).

I believe this weapon might be a step in the right direction at least in the aspect of scout rifles which it follows into. Firing at the rate you pull the trigger. yes the fusion round is quite strong but if you take into aspect of the element used without an actual DoT(Damage over time for those who don't know dork) Could be a lot worst. almost like Thorn but the DoT is replaced with Direct damage making it do another 35-40 damage per round. in the right hands this is a lethal toy. But if everyone had one it would still be complained about. Do to over-all ability in PvP. I'm sure Bungie will do as they please with this. Doubt it will be nerfed. Most likely slow down the shot or just pull back on elemental damage. Best thing is. Iron banner hasn't even arrived yet. Imagine how this gun would do with a maxed leveled Guardian?

5 AntwortenHardly anybody is going to have that gun man... The only reason people are even getting to the last boss on normal is because they cheese the first boss fight. Your average run of the mill pug will have a pretty low chance of downing the last boss. You need six people who know what they are doing. Now consider that on normal and hard is wayyy wayyy worse. The QQ from people when VoG gets fixed and they have to fight the druid boss the right way will be gigantic. As of right now downing the last boss is almost pointless unless you want the shader and achievement. The raid is bugged and you don't get rewards it freezes. All the good stuff is from the previously completed checkpoints and looting the three chests. Its kind of sad actually.

this game could have been tremendous...instead it's just blah....i keep thinking about the original vision of destiny and all that could have been. that game could have become legend....instead we get this watered down version that while playing when my GF says "honey i need you to help with blah blah blah" i have not problem dropping the controler. i was really looking for a reason to break up with her and the original vision of destiny was the basket i put all those eggs into. don't get me wrong for some reason i don't understand i keep playing it over and over agian at the same time thinking "wow this is really boring" or "what is the story/reason behind this particular event i'm doing". remember grape drink and grape juice look the same and sometimes taste the same but they are not the same formula. right now destiny is grape drink and the original vision is the grape juice i salavate for.

Judging by the videos I've seen, its hella OP, but at this point its definitely not ruining the game. Probably only a handful of people have even gotten it.
