Hunters are Underpowered
I've been watching reviews of the three classes and people are always saying that all the classes balance out, but here's why I know Hunters are underpowered.
Hunters don't have an insta-kill like Titan and Warlock have.
Hunters don't have a melee attack that instantly gives health, shields, and overshields like Titan and Warlock have.
Hunters' Gunslinger subclass only lasts less than 10 seconds, and you only get three shots. If you miss then you're gonna die; whereas a Titan can miss his Super, but still take out the entire team. Same with the Warlock, as they can miss and still take out whole teams.
Hunters' Bladedancer subclass is underpowered against enemies who see it coming. A Titan and Warlock can Super and kill the Hunter with ease. A Titan and Warlock can shotgun, then melee, and kill the Hunter in Bladedancer.
What Hunters need.
Overshield when in Bladedancer/make them harder to kill.
Get rid of the timer on Golden Gun, or extend the time, or give more shots.
Allow Golden Gun bullets to explode if fired at the ground, so if you miss you can still kill the player/AI enemy; just like a Titan/Warlock.
A damage boost to Blink Strike/Throwing Knife.
Precision Kills with Throwing Knife regen health.
A hit/kill with Blink Strike will wrap your body in Arc energy(Overshield).
I've been shoulder-charged insta-killed, Warlock and Titan Super killed through walls and around corners, and killed by a Titan Super on the ground while ontop of a tall structure.
Hunters are sooo underpowered. It's either get in dangerously close, or don't miss.
What do you think Hunters need? Or are they just as good as Titan and Warlock even without insta-kill melee, without melee that gives overshields, being easy to kill during Gunslinger and Bladedancer, etc.?

We just beat hard Crota with 5 Hunters and a Warlock, were not too terribly under powered. Also, I (the SB) was the only one with a health regen weapon or armor piece. Lol

Yeah hunters are sooo underpowered. That's why more than the half of every months pvp leaderboards are hunters. If you think that the hunter is underpowered then just pick another class.

3 AntwortenActually, its BECAUSE of the things the Hunters lack that they are beasts, knowing you cannot save yourself from certain death causes you to instead think "I can not and will not die here for I have no second chances", which in turn makes you want to outlive your enemy instead of outgun it.

I'm sorry but only thing I can agree on is that hunters melee is bad in terms of damage even with the burn a headshot will not kill a full health player. Arc blade has hungry blade blink strike and arc blade kill regain health. And using razor edge is is what will give you the edge over everyone you can take out players at a distance. Plus Golden gun is the most op super in pvp. Pair with the helm that gives a extra shot and using combustion it's very dangerous. I've gotten 3 kills with 1 shot alone in pvp. Plus it's a ranged super that keeps space between you and your enemy. Plus it's a one shot on everyone but a Titan with unstoppable mid super or a ward which takes 2 shots.

Every class has its benefits. Hunters can be stealthy and have strike from behind that does extra damage.

I agree with 1 point the hunter could do with a 1 hit melee, invisability is pretty much usless in pvp with the predator like aura it produces. But hunters move fastest golden gun has the longest range of any super and is a 1 hit kill 3 times and causes splash damage. Seems pretty balanced other than melee kills.

All Titans kill anything lol. My main people are warlocks and hunter but I have a 31 Titan. Titans are the crucible winners while hunters are next. And then warlocks but as for pve. Warlock Titans hunters

Hunters are certainly not underpowered, I love my Hunter, you leave him alone.

Keep this thread alive for another month and I'll upload a video to YouTube and link it here to show you just how underpowered hunters are in PvP and how few people use it. They ain't gonna like that truth

Never ever had a problem with my hunter in PvE or PvP and btw golden gun is not a one miss and your gonna die by something, with hunters the trick to the supers are basic you gotta keep moving around standing still wont help one bit that will let that warlock get that shotgun hit on you.

People will hate but much of what you say makes since. Warlocks and Titans have a panic switch and melees that or more powerful or reach further. Golden gun is a little underpowered and could use some splash damage. I use all three classes and hunter requires more skill than the other two for sure. Warlock is the most powerful, Titan is better for defense, hunter is all offense and agility.

If they buff hunters then titans and warlocks will be underpowered. End of story.
