I've been watching reviews of the three classes and people are always saying that all the classes balance out, but here's why I know Hunters are underpowered.
Hunters don't have an insta-kill like Titan and Warlock have.
Hunters don't have a melee attack that instantly gives health, shields, and overshields like Titan and Warlock have.
Hunters' Gunslinger subclass only lasts less than 10 seconds, and you only get three shots. If you miss then you're gonna die; whereas a Titan can miss his Super, but still take out the entire team. Same with the Warlock, as they can miss and still take out whole teams.
Hunters' Bladedancer subclass is underpowered against enemies who see it coming. A Titan and Warlock can Super and kill the Hunter with ease. A Titan and Warlock can shotgun, then melee, and kill the Hunter in Bladedancer.
What Hunters need.
Overshield when in Bladedancer/make them harder to kill.
Get rid of the timer on Golden Gun, or extend the time, or give more shots.
Allow Golden Gun bullets to explode if fired at the ground, so if you miss you can still kill the player/AI enemy; just like a Titan/Warlock.
A damage boost to Blink Strike/Throwing Knife.
Precision Kills with Throwing Knife regen health.
A hit/kill with Blink Strike will wrap your body in Arc energy(Overshield).
I've been shoulder-charged insta-killed, Warlock and Titan Super killed through walls and around corners, and killed by a Titan Super on the ground while ontop of a tall structure.
Hunters are sooo underpowered. It's either get in dangerously close, or don't miss.
What do you think Hunters need? Or are they just as good as Titan and Warlock even without insta-kill melee, without melee that gives overshields, being easy to kill during Gunslinger and Bladedancer, etc.?

Is this a really delayed April fools post?

Bearbeitet von I Pye: 4/6/2015 10:13:26 AMyou have only used a hunter so you will say that. before i set up all 3 classes i used to think a titan was at a disadvantage. since ive set up all 3 i find my kd is always better with my hunter and has by far the best supers imo. until you have used all 3 classes you cannot make an accurate post about one class being underpowered. edit- i am only referring to the pvp side of the game and not the pve side as on the pve side, i would agree that their supers are not as useful

I like the class actually. Sure I'd like a bit of a buff but when playing this class to its full strength we can wreck opponents/minions. Hunters are actually quite powerful, just learn to play your class. Plus Hunters are my favorite class to play, really really fun play styles. Full frontal assault, stealth, or misdirection.

Play as a hunter as my main. This guy knows nothing. He probably just sucks at playing as a hunter.
-
They are far from under powered in crucible, pve is a different story with the supers
-
I am hunter and taken whole team down with golden gun. Its not underpowered if you know how to use it.
-
Throwing Knife does indeed suck dick.

6 AntwortenThe only thing that needs a buff in my opinion from hunters is their melee.

Not sure if really bad troll, or just really stupid.

This bait

It's people like you that need to find the nearest cliff and take a leap. You are completely mentally challenged and have either 1) Never played Crucible or 2) Are a Hunter and think they need to be buffed because you're completely stupid. Ask ANYBODY and they will easily tell you that hunters are the most OP. If built right (which isn't hard to do) a Hunter can have healing after a melee kill(which recharges instantly if built right) and the Bladedancer already has bonus health, which is even more than a Sunsingers super. Hunters, if anything, need to be nerfed. I'd suggest this by taking away the aiming with Golden Gun and making the time in Bladedancer MUCH, MUCH shorter. My friend mains a Titan and recently made a Hunter. FIVE matches in a row he got a Sum of All Piers medal. That medal is when your score is MORE THAN EVERY ENEMIES SCORE COMBINED. He got five in a row before switching back to Titan and seeing how OP hunters are. Moral of the story/ TL;DR: Hunters require next to no skill in Crucible and are easily the most OP. Not only do their insanely great supers cause this, but the combinations of skills can make a Hunter 3-4x better than the best Warlocks and Titans.

OP is just a whiny baby. Stop crying and trying to become overpowered, jesus get a grip. And ALL supers insta-kill, dimwit. Unless they have blessing/armor of light, Force Barrier, or flame shield, it's one shot. Same goes for warlocks and titans. So please, shut the hell up. It's people like you that make me do something different.

2 AntwortenHunter gunslinger is for pros only. The class is good, just takes skill to use. "A lone wolf who lives for the perfect shot" We shoot to hit, not shoot to miss. Throwing knives are great, tripmines are great, golden gun is great. All there is to it is landing the hit.
-
You have the wrong view of it. Hunters have the op supers ;). No one thinks of it everyone is oh a titan takes out the whole team but how often does that happen. How often do u see a titan get 1 kill with a super. A hunter doest need to use their super at once it has the beauty of time.

2 AntwortenYeah at least if your in your animation you shouldn't lose your supet

Hungering blade regens health when you kill blink strike someone and when you kill someone while blade dancing
-
If you think hunters are underpowered the. You are using him wrong lol
-
Hunters are the most overpowered shits in pvp
-
You are an idiot
-
No your just bad

1 AntwortenThere has to be a shiitiest class in every game. That's hunter.
-
5 AntwortenGunslinger is meant to be like a glass cannon Bladedancer is meant to be like a cheap knife that you buy at a convenience store, only truly effective if used quickly.
-
Have you actually played bladedancer properly in pvp? Arc blade can destroy an entire fireteam and cancel supers with the proper set up of hungering blade or encore. Arc blade literally auto targets any enemy within striking distance. Gunslinger's can snipe with their supers and can also can cancel supers. Any class can seem broken or underclassed depending on the skill of the player.

Yup underpowered....... That's why I just went 21-1 on blind watch control a little bit ago.
And I capped zone "A" :-p
