Remove Upgrades!
Well I just broke my gun... I was actively trying NOT to click the upgrade I did, but I clicked it. I clicked it and now there's no going back!
I'm sure many of you are familiar with the feeling. Everything is going well, until for a brief moment in a strike mission when you hear that *DING* and you know there's an upgrade waiting for you. So you go into the weapon and quickly press on the first thing with a "+" sign, because in your head you're saying, "No upgrade is a bad upgrade!"
Upgrades shouldn't be a permanent thing, they should feel like rewards for using gear and weapons, not a burden forced upon us. Allow us to deselect upgrades at will, please.

2 AntwortenSo you lose one or two rounds per minute, but gain damage and accuracy as the weapon progresses? Sounds like a damn fine trade to me. With as much damage that that weapon can push out, then you add the ability to keep it's shots in a tighter cluster (like someone's head...)? That only makes a weapon better. Unless the whole point of your playstyle is "spray-n-pray"... then aiming and stability don't really mean shit.

5 AntwortenI think this is one of the things they'll be fixing about the exotics cause that upgrade completely changes the gun. Idk why it's a mandatory upgrade and not just an option.

I suggest renaming the title to "deselect upgrades" because "remove upgrades" makes it sound like you want to remove upgrades entirely, and you'll get grief from people who only read the title.

Your gun is more easily controlled, you hit harder, easier to get multiple headshots. That upgrade basically turns it into a fast firing scout rifle, however, I do believe there should be firing modes, like switching your rifle from single fire to full auto and in this case, switching it to slow fire mode when aiming down the sights.

not upgrading a suros is basically giving you a fully upgraded lvl 20 blue.

Add this featured for the hunters blade dance after selecting show stopper if can take it off I have to pick from one of the others and I rather use my tigger than my bumper since my is messed up and half the time when I click it it does nothing

3 AntwortenAgree, upgrade options should always be just that OPTIONS. A guardian should know their weapon enough to know how to undo an upgrade.

1 AntwortenWell it [i]is[/i] a core feature of that particular gun, so why buy it if you dont like it? Yes, of course I realize that the answer is "It was on sale", but buyer beware as they say. It can see why it is annoying, but on the other hand it makes it more exiting when you finally get The Right Gun(TM) Btw, I had a gun with that feature in the Beta, it is great for PvE, not so much for PvP IMHO. But there is always the option of using something else.

I have to agree,and also in armor set pieces. I hate the "throw grenades further" upgrade but is required to open the progression

Definitely agree. Honestly to me though I do not feel like the damage buff is proportional the the decrease in fire rate. I felt like i killed my opponent a lot faster before I got the perk to slow it down. Both in PvE and PvP. Personally I feel the fire rate should be increased just slightly or the damage increased slightly. Tip for those using it, if you keep tapping the trigger it seems to fire faster but with a lot more recoil.
