A Message To Shotgunners/Fusion Riflers.
I enjoy this games pvp, I find it new and refreshing. My loadouts are usually Handcannons/Sniper or Pulse rifle/sniper (mainly handcannon though) and with my "underpowered" handcannon, I rarely go negative. However I see so many pvpers cling on to their shotguns/fusion rifles like their destiny life depends on it, and its just silly. I'm not here to qq as I stated before I do fine in pvp without using either, it just almost makes me sad to see some people running around constantly with one of those weapons. Guys who do this, please try new things, the game is much more fun if you change things up a bit. I promise you can do well without using a shotgun or fusion rifle. Its even more sad to see the people who are clearly too far away for either weapon, yet they just refuse to switch to anything else and either run forward in a line at you or just stand there and die, either way there are more weapons you can do well with, without resorting to the sillyness.
Sidenote: I'm not trying to say everyone who uses these weapons are like this, but I know you guys have seen the many players running around trying their damn hearts out to use their shotgun on the moon, for example..
Edit: The ones who think I'm mad at shotgun/fusion rifle users, I'm not.. I kill them freely. Nor am I trying to say you aren't allowed to use them. I'm trying to say, there are more weapons than to ONLY use them. However I now know who you are! ;)

I love how my Suros staggers those noobs and sticks them in one spot until they die. I never have to worry about them again :D

3 Antworten1. Have you seen the bounty 10 fusion rifle sprees? 2. Have you seen the bounty 10 bruiser medals? I usually get these 2 everyday, so now what? Do I not use these weapons to make you happy? Why should anyone do the same? Do I believe most destiny players are scrubs and take advantage of these weapons, I truly do. In posting this your not changing anything. it is more strategic to use a shotgun In a close room or a fusion rifle. In certain situations these weapons are unmatched. Now people like you who have these issues need to change your game play. Don't run into rooms where you see red on your mini map unless you want to say hi to a shot gun. Use a rifle and keep your distance at all times. Running around with teammates will usually over come that instead of going on solo missions. At the end of the day the only one who can make this better is you by playing better and finding a way to overcome these combinations.

4 AntwortenIt's a fault in how the PVP was designed, of course people are going to always runw ith shotguns and fusion rifles in a game where 99% of engagements happen inv ery close quarters. The biggest issue though, is how anyone at any time can get ammo for their shotguns/snipers/fusion rifles. These were previously guns that were PICK UP ONLY in halo, why they decided everyone should have them at all times is beyond me. In my opinion, they need to reduce the amount of special ammo available, it needs to be more along the lines of heavy ammo in terms of how often it's restored.

I see people constantly hiding on the outskirts of the map, picking off people who enjoy the thrill of close quarters combat and clinging to the sniper rifle. Guys if you do this, please try something new.

When Bungie force players into multiplayer and then states a particular damage type must be used to power up an exotic bounty, I'm not surprised that one weapon is being seen a a lot. Sometimes this boils down to how the game is designed, and can be quite frustrating for both PvP and PvE players.

Thorn is my hand canon of choice. In PvP with the lingering damage upgrade it is a BEAST I don't get why people call it underpowered

I use the shotgun from time to time and it most definitely is a "scrub gun". Fusion rifle has a charge time so generally you only get one chance.

Agreed. Try different load outs. But since kids will be kids and showing off how "special" (and yes I mean short bus special) they are means they will use whatever they thinks makes them "pwn" Ignorance can be cured....stupid is proud of itself

I don't do PvP ever really, but I finally got an exotic bounty, so I will probably be abusing my fusion rifle and auto rifle. Sorry in advance to everyone, but I want that exotic shotgun

I usually use my hand-cannon but I have to use my special weapon right now for the void damage points in an exotic bounty.

Nah... I like my comfort zone. I'll stick to waiting around corners and oneshotting with my shotgun. Learn to dodge, or prepare to die. Love how it's the "noobs" using all these weapons, but if we get all the kills, you look like more of a noob for not countering it.

My legendary fusion rifle is currently my best weapon but sure I'll handicap myself for you. Believe me, as soon as the RNG decides to finally drop me a decent primary for all my time spent, I'll stop "abusing" my FR.

No need for good aim when you can just run around one-hit killing people in melee range. Some people are just bad.

So you want them to move on from playing with Shotguns or Fusion Rifles to what... Sniper Rifles? That's the only Secondary left.

Why not try something new like the shotgun or fusion rifle? I prefer to use one of those personally. My Primary and Heavy cover long range combat for me, so I want something good at close range. Pulling out a sniper to try a no/quick scope gets me killed 100% of the time. If I'm on a large map, sure I'll try using a sniper. But, most times I'll stick to the inside of buildings and use a shotgun or fusion rifle instead because that is the range I'm best at with my Titan. I have plenty of options that way. I can use any of my 3 weapons, my grenade, running shoulder tackle, or melee. Plus, both Titan Supers are made for close range combat. Considering Titans are by far the most underpowered class IMO, that is the way I must fight to best help my team win.
