I bought the PS3 version of Destiny to play with friends as they only have PS3s but also redeemed the free PS4 copy to play alone (thank you for the free upgrade). Our plan was to mostly Coop Destiny on PS3 as that seems the most fun way to play. However... I get constant network errors on the PS3, when joining the fire team it normally takes 1-5 tries to get in with the error message being about Moderate NAT, after a few attempts it does connect to my friend though and we can do missions together (However we hardly ever see another player, maybe 3 in the first 5 hours we have played together). The major problem is connecting to The Tower, as soon as our fire team tries to go to the tower I get dropped from the game world, reason beaver. I have to try 20+ times to eventually connect to the tower alone so I can quickly do what I need before being dropped from it again and then rejoin my fire team. This has occurred constantly and is not limited to a single day. On PS4 I have very little connection issues, I can normally get into the tower first time and have never been dropped from the game world, I have also been playing the crucible absolutely fine on the PS4 with no network issues, I have never tried the crucible on PS3. My PS3 and PS4 are both connected to the same Wireless connection and have identical network settings. Please can you give me some advise on why the PS3 constantly struggles to connect because I do want to finish the story in Coop but it is very frustrating to have to drop the fire team and spend 30 min to an hour just trying to get into the tower when I have to.
