So there isn't a lot of gear....
From my experience from playing a warlock past level 20. This is the gear that I get.
green= 102% chance of axiom coven
blue gear=locus watcher, axiom coven, and some other set I don't remember.
Legendary= legendary engrams exist, not sure about legendary gear though.
Isn't it a little weird that Warlocks so far seem to have 3 sets of rare gear?

All the factions have the same 2 armors just recolored, and the vanguard/crucible chests seem to be the same but recolored. I miss the orange jacket I had when I was low level, who's idea was it to have armor designs level locked? The designs should all be random with abilities only level locked. And the names should be semi-random except for legend and Exo. Also like my current outfit queens guard plus bloodpact.

There simply isn't much gear in this game. In case people haven't figured it out by now there are only 2 exotics per slot and only a handful of legendaries (which are all nearly identical).

Some of the rare gear has hilarious names though. I have a crap hand cannon, but I kept it because it's name is NIFTY_BISCUIT. There are a bunch more, but that one was the most memorable, as I was hungry at the time.

Keep in mind this is only week 3 we might get more with a patch and we should with dlc in dec.

Their investment in the game is for the long-term, so let's hope that they go about rectifying this and put out lots more gear that we can all aim for. I want lots of high end gear to aim for. With this sort of game there has to be some incentive for people to keep playing. PvP is much like any other shooter. I want to feel like the gear that I get separates me from others. At the moment I can't say that's really the case. Here's hoping they get their act together... and soon!

Gear seems to be repeated ad nauseam. What I don't get is that even among the vendors with high level gear in the Tower they sell what is essentially the same gear, just a different name. I mean the separate vendors require all require you to work up rep with them separately and different marks (which are limited to so many a week) and all for pretty much the same gear as one another. It all feels redundant splitting up the gear between the vendors when there's not much difference between them. Plus, is it just me or are all the Sparrow, Seeker and other mounts the exact same model, but with different colour variations?

Yeah I was thinking about this the other day. I remember them saying that there was going to be a ton of gear in the game. I didn't think they meant the same gear but with slightly different attributes.

26 AntwortenAbsolutely. They needed to have as much Rare, legendary, and exotic gear as they did green to make this an MMO for hardcore gamers. They got lazy and this game won't be played nearly as much as Halo 2 3-4 years after release.

3 sets are all you need to be able able to get a mixture of strength, intelligence, and discipline

4 AntwortenJust keep trying and do PvP because I was just trying to dance with the other team (bad idea) and I got a exotic sniper (Closing Time sniper rifle)

2 AntwortenActually its pretty easy to max out your crucible and other rep by doing bounties. This will gain you legendaries and perhaps exotic bounties like myself. Also chances are by doing crucible you will get 1-2 legendaries anyways because they tend to happen to somebody every 3ish games. Gearing up solely by doing strikes is basically piss-poor, dungeon drops completely suck you might aswell just smash it until you are rank 2 with both reps and enjoy the legendaries.
