Nerf invective please.
That gun is WAY too strong on PVP. It's honestly not fair at all. It's rate of fire coupled with its range and ability to regenerate special ammunition unbalance the playing field and make practically every other shotgun pointless by comparison. A gun that's this easy to obtain, yet still randomly given, should not lord over PVP the way it does. They say levels are balanced out for PVP, but as long as gun stats and perks aren't normalized as well then we can't truly have balance. It is far too easy to get CQC kills with it. The invective can let off 3 shots before any of my shotguns can get into kill range, it's unbelievably infuriating.

Every time you get owned in PVP you come in here crying nerf this or that. Get better or quit playing PVP. There is no weapon in Destiny that gives an advantage that cannot be countered. Your forgetting that this gun eats up an exotic spot. The only worth while feature that truly separates this gun is that it regens ammo like the ice breaker. Found Verdict is better in terms of performance. Random rolled post master shotguns can have astonishingly lethal combinations, on legendary shotguns. I have a Comedian that could probably do with a nerf. • +2 agility • Slide further when this weapon is equipped • ads significantly reduces the bullet spread Combine that with my Catapult Agility Titan, and collect the tears. Invective does not need a nerf.

The Invective is like a poor guy in the street compared to the pikes of a Gnasher. :p Yes shotguns are pain, but I normally don't need to deal with them. I keep my distance. I shoot my HCA at anything range. Kinda a herpa derp on your part. Even though I'm mediocre, shotguns are the least of my problem. Snipers, Hunters and SUROS is more threatening than a short-ranged Invective. The invective isn't even that common, last time I checked. So, if you want practice for 'dealing with annoying close range shotties' message me and buy GoW3, I have Xbox 360.

its not that powerful I haven't used mine in about a month until today the ammo regen is irrelevant in pvp you can pick up more faster it is quicker and easier to buy better leg shotguns that don't take up an exotic slot the range is less other shotguns it does fire fast but its 4 rounds and the reload is still slow my advice to you is to try using fusion rifles to counter range or try to find a shotgun you like with better range I had a nf one I forget the name

I'm pretty sure a Shingen (any) is more broken than the Invective. Aside from the Suros Regime, it's every tryhards' primary since a lot of people are too scared to try out different guns. Plus, Invective isn't broken, it's just that everyone uses it because it's so easy to get.
