Level 26 people legit? Or hacked?
Is it possible that these people reached that high of a level already? The game just came out last week. No way there level 26. I'm only a level 6 from doing missions. I see people with high level weapons. Legendary weapons and armor. Maybe they're hackers? With the exception of the bungie employes. I haven't played the crucible yet(except beta. Even then the crucible was a little difficult lol.). Based on what I've read on other sites I wouldn't want to get matched with people that are a lot higher than I am. I only had a short amount of time to play since I got the game this past Saturday.

Hacking...? I'm lvl 27 because of the hours I've put into the game. I made a lot of bad decisions along the way, so I could have been an even higher lvl by now

Ya no, level 26 was capable in the first week. Now when you see a level 29, then it's time to worry.

Stock up on Bounties (they refresh at 5 am Eastern time) and do patrols, not just the story missions. These will not only help your Vanguard rank, but also give you extra XP and loot drops.

I'm 27 and seriously it wasn't that hard, I just got lucky getting legendary and exotic armor.

Thats by beating the story and playing alot of crucible and doing a shit ton of bounties

Lol dude I'm 26 almost 27, it took me the better part of a week to get from 24-26 though. But it's all about the legendary armor, once you have that each defensive upgrade also upgraded it's light so it boost your level as well.

I literally just did my bounties every day and then bought vanguard/dead orbit gear and then leveled it up... I could be 29 but I am saving my shards in hopes that I get better gear from the raid when it resets.... Oh and I got an exotic helmet from doing last week's nightfall weekly at lvl 26....it took us 3 hours to do it :/ Iv never got a single legendary from Engrams... For my class at least... 3 exotics though... For hunter and titan (I'm a warlock)
