The tower is just so boring. When i have completed a mission or strike i go back and am just amazed at how depressing it is. Cities should be bursting with life and people, there should be interactions, fighting, crying, laughing, emotions! People are social being! Or just give me my own room with custom options, where at least i can feel at home after a big fight. I am not sure if the city is worth saving if all we have become are bland, efficient, machinelike creatures.

2 AntwortenI found a soccer ball the other day and was kicking it around. Sadly, I kicked it off the roof top.

I totally agree, i think open mic should as least be enabled in certain areas, maybe a canteen or something of that nature and the courtyard area would be good too. I understand Bungie wants to comply with its T for Teen rating, but online interactions don't apply to that, someone can curse like a sailor in Minecraft or Madden and those are rated E. I understand Bungie's stance here but to me it seems more out of laziness and the lack of wanting to expend resources to handle communication. I also know they want to separate themselves from the MMO moniker, but are okay with it on their terms (such as pvp and raids, those are mmo terms they love to use). Also, how are we gonna make friends with people that we cant communicate with, you know, that we need for the raids since there is no matchmaking. *facepalm*

Last night I looked at my friends list on the PS4 XMB, and it said two of them were in the Tower. What made me laugh was it indicated they were in a "Social" mode. I can't think of anything more sad and antisocial in this game than the Tower. Even in the field you can encounter other people and help them out with what they're doing, maybe pointing out a chest to them. In the Tower people just do the upgrade thing, look at stuff, and dance or kick a ball around to kill time while their fire team wraps up their business.

3 AntwortenI'll be honest. If this game is going to survive it will be absolutely mandatory for it to: 1-Massively increase the size of the existing maps and add additional locations. 2-Give players the ability to trade with one another. I mean, come on Bungie, surely to goodness you realize that every other RPG on Earth has that option. 3-Give us the option to name our Guardians and customize their height and body build. This is basic stuff here, get with the program. 4-Ability to customize firearms, such as barrel length, color, magazine size, fire rate, etc. This is a major disappointment for such a well polished game not to have such a basic feature. 5-Make side missions actually worth while by giving each one a story of it's own. I'll be honest here, the side missions of Destiny are the lamest of almost any RPG I've ever played and I've been playing them since Wasteland and the original Final Fantasy on up to Diablo 3. 6-Offer reward options at the end of each quest. For instance, give the player the option of choosing between a rare Encrypted Engram or Strange Coins for completing a mission. 7-Make every planet the freaking solar system available for play. It absolutely sucks that I'm stuck visiting the same locals over and over again. It's boring and greatly detracts from the fun of the game. 8-Give us Class Specific Weapons. For instance, the Titan could carry spiked gauntlets, the Hunter could obtain a short sword, and the Warlock could get Energy Gauntlets. 9-Vehicular weapons and combat on Sparrow and our Ships. 10-Raise level Cap to at least 50. No one likes to see there character level maxed after only 3 days of playing a game. It's boring, and makes the game seem generic. If Bungie were to do all of these things the game would thrive and stomp it's competition, but as it currently stands, it's just too dang short and repetitive in comparison every other RPG on the market. Honestly I feel like Bungie didn't really research the Genre enough while developing the game. Either that or they were just lazy, and I would hope that laziness is not the case.

The game as a whole is dead, not just the tower. I came to Destiny because I was sick and tired of Call of Duty. I was craving another competitive multiplayer game, and God damnit did Destiny look like the one. Oh wait, there are no private matches. Brilliant idea Bungie. How do you think Call of Duty, the Battlefields all have staying power? Competitive multiplayer! People aren't playing for the damn story for years. Again, brilliant idea Bungie. You certainly won't last 10 years. An average game with a pretty face.

8 AntwortenSo what if it's dead? People aren't supposed to spend much time there anyway, there is too much to explore on all planets.

3 AntwortenPso on the sega Dreamcast hed up to 100 players with keyboard chat...that was 15 years ago.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von SJohnson1021: 9/19/2014 4:37:15 PMDefinitely needs to be more social interaction. Not sure if open proximity chat is the best solution, but it's a step in the right direction.. I had another idea for a compromise between just emotes, and fully opening voice chat up, and I haven't seen it posted elsewhere.. It would be a small menu that would house interactive gestures/phrases/commands/etc.. Let me know what you guys think? Link to thread

The tower died in the womb like a lot of other aspect of this game.

2 AntwortenThe problem is that there is no open mic. If we had open mic, then there would be a lot more fun. I wanted to experiment in the tower. People are so bored, 9 players ended up dancing just because I was dancing. Pathetic, takes too long of a load screen just to get there.

It's only been a week aye! Settle down!
-
3 AntwortenThat's what I've been saying since the game came out Make a chat/type in the tower like phantasy star universe That will fix it from being boring I hope bunfie c's this
-
3 AntwortenThere does need to be more player interactions other than pointing and dancing lol.
-
a library/archive or bard/historian. someone or someplace you can go and see/hear the legends, history and stories of the world of Destiny. you could use that to access all the grimoire info , cut scenes and any other story stuff for the game. it would be cool to incorporate some of that research right into the game.

To think that PS Home was release many years ago, and one room on there had more content and more to do than the tower.

it is hard to laugh when the darkness surrounds you... ; )

7 AntwortenI think it would be cool if the city was opened below the tower like a regular planet, with different zones and you could use your sparrows and there were shops and houses you could buy
-
Umm exos are completely machinelike.
-
I like this idea. I need to feel like I know the people Im trim to protect.
-
5 AntwortenThey should add sitting areas that your character can actually sit on properly, bars that serve drinks with different effects, party games (mini games), sparrow race track with glimmer bets on players lol
-
I think a changeable voice option between fireteam, social voice chat, or interactive chat options between players woould be great for setting up fireteams if you ate playing solo would be cool.

2 AntwortenAgree with most of you. Open up communication in the tower would be the first step in the right direction. I was hoping for this to be grand like the Citadel in Mass Effect....it's not even 5% of that. When you look at the tower from the distance, you can see how big it is...why not open it up for exploration? Buying homes? Trade shops? Even getting side missions from people to go "out there"....have people/races/robots roam around. Populate it, make it interesting! You would think 500mil budget would give you incentive enough to dream big

I agree the tower is kind of boring it needs something
