Destiny PvP is Outrageous?!

Who feels it is so unevenly matched, that it isn't fun sometimes...? Halo had equal weapons and health. Destiny has a level 29 playing a 7. I can't stand this crap! (Also I played in beta, I did great and had a good time because there were few choices of weapons, now the higher levels get any gun they want while I'm stuck with the crappy broken lens gun)
I'm not talking about damage guys... im referring to gun stats
EDIT: I made this post in the first week that this game came out everyone. And these problems are STILL going on. I hope that tells the community something about this games PvP!

Can't melee anyone and usually die with one shot.(And I'm the one with a good connection) I only returned to VP because of the Torn bounty but seems impossible to finish, on the other hand the players with poor connection are usually on 1st place

9 AntwortenCrucible is the reason why 3rd world countries don't have clean water. Ill agree that level and armor have no relevance to balance, but as a gunslinger hunter I can say that i'm contracting cancer playing PvP. For example, WHY IN THE HELL DOES EVERY SUPER IN THE GAME GIVE A HEALTH BUFF BESIDES GUNSLINGER? In all seriousness, it's entirely unfair that titans, warlocks and bladedancer hunters are practically invincible while using their specials, not to mention that you can get twice as many kills when your super has a blast radius of 20 -blam!-ing feet while my useless pee shooter only allows me 3 or 4 at most before I get murdered. I hardly ever see gunslingers besides myself anymore. Everyone has taken the easy route and started using the classes that are actually useful in pvp. It's pathetic how underpowered gunslingers are compared to the roflstomping bullshit of titans and warlocks and ESPECIALLY polldancer hunters. I honestly love how unique each class is and their different abilities, but for Christ's sake, give us gunslingers a break.

1 AntwortenI don't believe it's the PVP that's outrageous, but the fact that to get legendaries from any venders beside the Vanguard ones, you need Crucible marks, and they only give you 2-3 a game. 4-5 would be ok, but to play at least 50 games just to get one weapon is outrageous.

I went into crucible as a level 2 and got first place 2/3 games vs 32s. Level and gear aren't everything. They're a factor, but that's part of the game.

2 AntwortenThis game is very well skill based when I first started I got distroyed had like a .86 kd after a few games you learn how to adapt cause it plays a lot different then most fps and I'm a highly skilled player once I learned how everything works I get 30 kills per game now and only die by shotguns or specials for the most part. went from .86 kd at 2000 kills now I'm at 2.40 kd at 7000 kills and I'll still go up. With that being said once you learn how game works how all specials work. Where all heavy ammo spawns on maps what times it spawns.good vantage points stuff like that you'll improve. Only broken thing to me are shotguns, extreamly unbalanced you could train a lab rat to use one...thorn is an amazing weapon for PvP but its pretty hard to use from medium to long range only skilled players can use it and do really well shots have to be paced cant just spam it and land headshots like most weapons reminds me of the dmr on halo reach. Best easiest weapon to use in my opinion is red death put that in your hand and if your a decent shot you'll do well is has crazy auto assist but not to good at close range. Play wanting to get better watch good players see how they play learn just like anything else. Lag is always bad this game has to have the worst servers ever besides MCC lol or the population is mainly from different planets lol overall this game is amazing reminds me of a world of Warcraft fps haha sorry for bad gramar This tablet blows

Since this has RPG elements to the game, people that are higher level will, of course, have better gear than you. I think that the people that say PvP is unfair either do not get the concept of RPGs and how the higher you are, the better you will be, or just want everyone to roll over dead when they look at the enemy. This actually ruins games like this for a lot of people because the people that haven't worked as hard as other players want it to be balanced. I mean come on, if everything was balanced no matter what level, why the hell would anyone want to get really good gear and get as high as they can when a level 5 can destroy them just as easily as a level 20 can? It is called effort and patience people. Once you get to a higher level and better gear, it will become more balanced. TLDR: Low level You + High Level Enemy = Enemy has unfair advantage. That is the way it is supposed to work. It is DESIGNED that way. Don't ruin the game for people who put a lot of effort into getting good by making everything balanced.

9 AntwortenI got owned by a 17 using the strangers rifle the other day. I was using TLW and felwinters... And had been drilling the competition a few matches prior. End results was the 17 winning Best Around and going unbroken with 21 kills. Not exactly record stuff but still goes to show level and weapons don't matter outside of iron banner.

Lol the only difference between guns in the crucible is their perks. There are multiple legendary, rare, uncommon guns that have the same stats

I used my level two Titan with a Marshal A1 and a Preacher MK 20, and I came in third quite a few times, so I know it's still fun and doable.

Either get better weapons/ change your strategy to compete or stfu. OMG this isn't the same pvp experience I get on all my other pvp games so this use be wrong and I need to fix it. This is how destiny pvp works. If you like halo pvp play halo, if you like dark souls pvp play dark souls. If you like cod pvp, you guessed it, play cod. Jesus

I have better luck with Rares over legendary especially and exotics
