Will Destiny be better than Halo?
It's no big secret that Bungie will try to surpass their earlier work in terms of quality - that's what every good craftsman, artist and engineer ultimately strives to achieve. No doubt, Destiny is shaping up to be a wonderfully fun and addictive game in its own right. However, can Destiny truly become a game that defines an entirely new generation, capturing the minds and hearts of everyone who plays it, just as Halo once did?

Bigger in a matter of size of the worlds. As of now Halo has a head start. Destiny seems to be the game that will grow with story and lore and world size and change real directions. It's much more flexible and mild able and I think that's what Bungie is striving for. Halo Competitive was tremendously huge during Halo 1-3 era. I'm not sure that Destiny will go to those stakes but I'm hopeful for it's success because I don't want it's content to stop before I'm 31. Lol that's 10 years from now. Also the way I expect it well have our same exact characters the whole entire time! Meaning we never have to let go of our Guardian. In Halo there's a trend of characters trying to match Master Chief. Noble 6 and now Locke. There won't be any of that in Destiny! Just more and more expansions of the galaxy the entire way through. Destiny is great quality gaming and Halo has meant a lot to me. However Destiny has the slight edge with freshness and uniqueness and it's a brand new story that am looking to finish!

You cant say yet, we have yet to see the endgame of destiny, halo always excelled at game endings. As for gameplay, i like destiny better, its a bit more diverse with supers and more variety among weapon types. It will probably come down to story for me, destiny will have to be really engaging to surpass halo

Is not like i dont like halo..... cause im a long halo fan.... but the MCC are just games i aleeady played just with some better graphics and netter cinematics cutsceans... Destiny is somthing new, a new story, a new kind of game, somthing we have never seen before in our lifes... Dont get me wrong im still geting the MCC but I belive Sestiny will be a beter game....

The first three Halo's were pretty good but they are extremely overrated/over hyped by fanboys. Just like this game will be. I could honestly care less which game is considered better, all that matters for me is playing and having fun.

Halo has always had the best story and PvP. However, I think Destiny will be far more addictive. I just hope the story is as immersive as the desire for better loot.

Halo 1-Reach: nothing ever will be. Halo 4 and onwards: probably.

Apart from the FPS aspect they are different genres. One is an RPG, one is a straight up shooter. Both great but very different.

1 AntwortenI said "No they'll be about the same" because I remember back when Halo was out, it made me feel the same excitement I am now, and I always had a blast playing it. But in reality Destiny is the better game because Halo is outdated.

Halo 2/3 has better PVP (the rag doll and falling was hilarious and also killing your team mates when the round ended :) ) and also has sweet ol' forge mod for those lovely custom maps :) --edit-- Can't compare story yet since destiny hasn't come out.

1 AntwortenThe PvE part might be better than, or at least as good as, Halo's campaigns. The PvP looks bollocks, IMO, and won't even come close to rivalling H2 or H3 MM. Might be better than lolReach though...

Halo is for people that love good story and awesome gameplay.....Destiny is.....basically the same as halo but with a lot of armor and guns and different story also rpg feel to it. But halo was bungie's best game series. Destiny will be awesome but when that halo 2 anniversary comes out imma be on dat shat like cray cray :) oh and to please fan and piss off d bags fuq call of duty it's for swag f*gs and children :) byes <3
