With most competitive games the opportunity is there to apply hacks and mods. What is #Bungies stance on these rotten and impatient few and what sort of punishment will they dish out?

1 AntwortenTheir avatar is forced to stay at the tower, wear a dunce hat and a billboard that says, "I seriously suck at this game". Obviously I have no idea what they actually are going to do but that idea popped into my head and I had to share.

Bearbeitet von ShadowNinja77: 8/21/2014 6:45:01 PMHope they get regulated & banned I suppose if your refering to really bad ones that instantly got the best stuff, unkillable, 1 shot people with whatever they want, speed hack, etc. that kind of stuff needs swift & harsh action. As for moders it depends on the argument, are they modding to make the game better like with graphic mods, did they loose all they're data & just want they're stuff back? Debateable but truth be told the bad modders will ruin it for the good ones so most likely Bungie will have a zero-tolerance policy or the like. Also I recommend Moderators be secretly under-cover in contact with the community to follow how the community is. Banning them or permanetly banning them won't stop it if they make a brand new account.

What I would love to see is delete all their equipment and, as long as they're positive, invert their stats. A script or two would have to be written for it, but watching a player use aimbot/invincibility to go 50-0 in the Crucible only to end up with a 0.1 KD would be hilarious.

A whole bunch of pointing fingers.

Permaban

1 AntwortenI would like to see a proximity chat mod...

1 AntwortenIf it can be done on a console with this game it will be much worse on PC if it is ported, with little or no penalty.
-
They will likely not want mods at all. Mods like aimbot will likely just ban you from the game.
-
Well modding game types would be cool, remember halo reach chess

Bearbeitet von Elegize: 8/21/2014 3:21:30 PMNinja justice. Like real ninja justice. Not the weird kind you can get here on the forum. For real; If it's an actual cheat (not so much an exploit), delete all their stats.
-
the best hope would be that they get banned from their respective console internet. (so ps+ or xboxlive). that get's rid of them completely.
-
If its anything like most PC games most people will get a slap on the wrist and be banned for a short time unless its an obvious hack or mod then they will get permabanned

Its Bungies ultimate not so secret power house banning weapon, that they have in there possession since before the Halo timeline.

Probably just a perma ban

I think MS dishes out permabans for any sort of modding if they detect it.
