What a babbling hole.... honestly if you didnt know any of that information from previous video game experience.... where have you been... that being said.. she rekt'd... is really good.. and so on... just unbearable to listen to... Now onto the point of the thread.... it is without any hesitation that i say they allow for a radar adjustment... few other things affected by this is when you are hit the screen rings in red....either blocking radar visually (might be intentional) and or for those with color blindness can cause confusion.... I'm not color blind but I have audio visual sensory issues... also known as Synesthetic or Synethesia ..... certain tones cause visual stimuli which can affect things... also seeing things in patterns.... so any differentiation will help me.... I've purchased Gunnar amber tinted glasses... it helps a lot by the way... with reds and warm colors when I play... also reducing headaches from other issues.. not an ad.. just an offer

Just wanna say thanks OP for the colorblind test! I knew i had some kind. I seem to get oranges mixed up with Reda and greens. Test shows I have some red - green color blindness.

Why does everyone reply avoiding the point of the thread lmao. As a non color blind i agree the radar should have options coded in for other shades, it doesnt seem like a difficult thing to have an option setting for it offering the inside as red green white blue to help as many people be on a level field as possible.

I'm fortunate enough to only have partial red/green color blindness but +1 Honestly feel like the radar should have been blue. Blue colorblind is much rarer.

I took the test and it seems my color-blindness is pretty much non-existent. I only had trouble with the ones that didn't look like numbers and looked more like a jumbled mess. The lines were pretty easy and the other numbers were easy as well. Anyone notice a few of the numbers were impossible to make out?

Luckily, I'm not color blind.

She's good of course if I didn't really try to cap a damn flag the entire game I'm sure I could go 50+ kills do this while having the most caps then you'll grab my attention otherwise I'm not impressed.

OK... For those of you who do not know how to read or can read but not comprehend the reason for me posting this ISN'T anything to do with girls being better than boys... it's the fact that I came across a girl who was kicking ass and then she explained that the radar in the game glows to show which direction the enemy is coming from which was why she was doing so well. Unfortunately, those with red/green colour blindness (Deuteranopia) cannot see red very well and hence the darned thing is VERY hard to read. For example... see the image above. Can you see the red pencil (and yes, there is a red pencil there). Which is why the last line of my original post shouts out to Bungie to give us a colour blind option.

I just want to point something out for all the people crying over gender specifics here. Women (and I say this as a guy) are generally better shots than men are. Take a look at history if you will. Annie Oakley for one, was the best shot in her time. Another example is The Vietcong who used women as snipers during the Vietnam war (a shining cinematic example of this is the final segment of Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket"), and the Russian army who used them in WWII. Women have a whole lot more going on than men do that give them an advantage when it comes to firing a gun. I'm not talking sharpshooting per se, simply point, aim & shoot reflexes, concentration, focus & mental capacity. A woman isn't thinking the way a man is. Us guys tend to think waaaaay too technically and cloud ourselves from the fundamentals. We just tend to overthink everything. Plus, there's that whole EGO thing (looking at all you KDR whores with that one) which will almost always -blam!- you up when you're more worried about how well you're doing it as opposed to just doing it. The majority of girls who play FPS games (as well as those who fire real guns) just have a calmness about them that all the shooting fundamentals are natural to them. Then add to that the fact that most women are perfectionists AND the added incentive of proving men wrong and well...there you go. I'm pretty sure someone like Ms5000Watts (one of the female gamers on YouTube who plays Destiny and is notoriously accurate) could probably fire a pistol or rifle with the same accuracy, not withstanding the obvious physical deficiencies women have compare to men (ie, can she lift a rifle up & hold it properly, etc.) FPS games of course erase those factors and just brings it down to it's base level of "who's a better shot?" And 1v1 if a elite male and female FPS player squared off, I'd put my money on the girl. TL;DR- Girls focus more and think less when it comes to fundamental tasks than guys, which is why they generally melt face in FPS games more than their male counterparts. Women historically have been used as sharpshooters in real warfare as well, with extremely effective results.
