Destiny is a first person shooter, not an RPG. So no, wouldn't care to see it.

Bungie want everyone to go out and earn the loot, not build it. Not trade for it. They want you to earn it by fighting the Darkness. Since they have long term goals for the franchise I have to assume they have their reasons as to why it is this way.

I don't understand why fighting the darkness for material and taking time to craft them is not earning them.

It's an FPS with MMORPG elements in it...

So that don't mean you need an indepth crafting system. Using rare components to upgrade your legendary gear is enough.

much like borderlands, the game is both an rpg and a shooter, games can be more that one genre, and also a crafting system would be interesting to see, it would be nice to make guns with specific abilities or armor that lets you chose what stat to add to your self, or even using rare items too make even more powerful items

If it's just an fps why do you have to find loot lvl up have a skill tree etc. it seems like it has many rpg elements to me

It seemed like an RPG to me. I think it would be cool. Especially if they even care about the magic/ fantasy aspect of the game.
