i don't understand how people "find" their old systems
what the heck i keep them where i can see them at all times
um, back to the question. i dunno, i never really played the 64 with other people. the Gamecube, though, was where all the good stuff happened. my brother and i would play Mario Party, 007, all that good stuff. I remember us waking up a little early so our mom didn't find us... mhmm, i miss those days, honestly. Now, it's been years since we played with each other and i dunno

We were alive for more systems. Not just 3 generations

Ah gotcha. At work, we have a big ass tv with a n64 and a wii hooked up. Whenever my boss's teeneage kids come by, they play the wii talking about "throwback" and the "old days", i challenged his son, whos like 15 to mario kart 64....and he told me he never played the 64 before. I died a little inside. #Generationgap

damn yeah since my brother is a little but older than me, I got to play those kinds of systems when I was young I'm not saying I'm part of that generation but 'ya know that's closest I can get lol

Bearbeitet von the one and only: 8/10/2014 4:46:21 AMThe games were different back then. I'd go as far to say they were better, because they couldn't just polish a turd with good graphics and ship it out like they do now. You had more of a challenge/reward system, too. The internet wasn't what it is today, so if there was something secret, you heard about it from a friend, then passed it on when you talked about it at school. Man...nostalgia gets ya in the feels. *sigh*

Mhmm, speaking of challenge... I played Ocarina of Time when I was fairly young, and do you know what the Gerudo's Training Grounds are or something like that? The reward was the Ice Arrows, and when I finally got them, I thought I was like the first person in the world to discover them, lol

Exactly! So many little things like that making you feel like you accomplished something in game, not just an achievement blip that pops up and goes away.

Haha, I just forget where I put them. They were in a box in my storage unit. GameCube was definitely good times!
