I don't think that will do anything. Most I know who played, turned Prox off as soon as they heard another player. I think as long as there is an option to not communicate, people won't. It was the thing that killed me in Crucible...if I wasn't with my friends, communication was non existent.
It seems to be a growing trend that people only want to communicate with people they know, even if it's not IRL. I wish this wasn't the case, but it's something I noticed more and more starting with Reach....Co-op campaigns, with nothing but crickets, Firefight that might as well just be score attack, H4 MM, SpOps, Zombies in CoD. I mean, Not even a "Heads" if they accidentally Huck a grenade at ya!
It's sad, as I had great times meeting new players back during the early days of Live.... I miss those days.

You know that in the Crucible, no one could hear you anyways, right? Unless you had a party or fireteam set up already, you're muted to your own teammates.

Didn't....makes sense now as why without my friends, there was no communication whatsoever. Thanks for the heads up on that...hope it changes.

I agree. The game community has really gone downhill compared to when I started playing.
