To everyone else! I play both + PC and enjoy all three. And none of them are better they are just different, this bold blatant fanboyism has irked me since the beginning, just accept that they are different. Each has presented [b][i][u]FACTS[/u][/i][/b] that they are different each has introduced games that excelled over the other, each has presented games that have destroyed that wall that made that game before it greater (IE: The GT series pioneered sim-racers on consoles, Forza stepped it's game up and is now the preferred sim-racer for many) both have presented many great exclusives, some have since crossed over but we still see amazing feats from this franchises! I bought a PS3 to complete a multi decade journey called Metal Gear! Was I less than enthused when Sony got hacked? Possibly losing my personal identity info? Sure but they didn't have as many years as MS! The funny thing is the best thing Microsoft has done in 10 years is Xbox but all these people still stand by them [spoiler]for example: windows ME, Vista, 8, Zune, original plan for X1 etc[/spoiler] Sony has produced multiple products! Wanna take a guess how many people play Xbox on a sony TV or with Sony surround sound system? Or watches a Blu-Ray in their xbox one? Shit I prefer Osiris Shoes over DC and Vans but I got a pair of all three (Vans and DC's were gifts). I don't talk about how busted I think Vans or DC's are my friends don't tell me how shite my Osiris are. The major draw for me when I got a Xbox was it was on of the first controllers on a mainstream console that fit in my impressively large meat hooks, (Same reason Glocks and Full size 1911 models appeal to me) having a larger control set up was nice! My Girlfriend has baby hands and admits she's drawn to playstation because it fits her hands. I drive a mid size truck because I'm a tall lanky sombish she's short and drives a grand am! Nintendo has more multi-Generational games/franchises/players that Playstation and Xbox combined! pokemon, Mario, Smash bros! Mario kart, supported backwards and cross-compatibility before it was cool! Pioneered console shooters with the likes of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark! And still has outlasted it's competitors by decades! Atari and Sega jumped ship and only produce titles now. Nintendo, Sega, and Atari were there first to give us in home arcade experiences (PAC-Man, excite bike, mortal Kombat etc!) and have all had more iterations for the most part than PS or Microsoft. Microsoft game us the first solid non-PC internet based multiplayer platform while Sony Lagged behind, re-pioneered console FPS games, Sony re-pioneered the Arcade to home console cross-over (time crisis, house of the dead, tekken etc) long before Microsoft! Sony gave us long standing and still exclusive International best selling titles that to date the mere rumor of a remake will cause any self-respecting nerd or gamer to need a change of panties over (See: PS3 FFVII tech demo and recent rumors of a next gen remake) carried the mantle of long standing franchises like Metal Gear, and Final Fantasy! Introduced multi Joystick console gaming, 3-d console gaming! Microsoft gave us multi-billion dollar franchises based in America, the first console producer in America since Atari and one of the first subscription based gaming services on a console. But neither XBOX nor PlayStation could exist with out the other! They stop a monopoly on the market, the provide different experiences and compliment each other (IMHO). Xbox player like the we did it first mentality! Honestly PC did it first when it comes to online gaming! (So technically Microsoft?) but the games we all tend to use as examples came from previous generations! Final Fantasy(Nintendo) every major fighting game (Arcade) First Person Shooters! (PC and arcade) Playstation gave us a new frontier, xbox a new option! But neither shines over the other! The console wars if I had my guess started long after the xbox came to be by children that never knew there wasn't an option! They just knew xbox. They didn't see the birth of the Atari or NES the Sega Genesis or dream cast! They refuse to believe "your" console is good because they "grew up" with Xbox or playstation. But honestly they made a decision based on what "Johnny" had, they wanted to play with friends, or because Xbox had online games? Or Playstation had Final Fantasy? At the average gamer I see in this debates age, I was allowed to play my NES for about an hour a day! Which was great since Peach was always in another castle! (You have no idea how much that pissed me off!) then I had to play outside! Or with actual toys! I played sports in middle school and by the time I was in highschool was working. The one thing I carried over was my electronic skill so I built computers, was less into sports and entered the armature competitive circuit for CounterStrike! About the time we were set as a team to go pro, a little game called Halo came out and spawned a new competitive field known as te MLG. PC gaming dropped off and my ancient playstation didn't qualify (lol) I didn't die, I adapted and just learned to enjoy gaming. I never argued the advantaged of WADS over controllers, for those of you that don't know HaLO all but sucked on PC but we adapted! Your "Master Race" system is just a preference not a fact! In the end most of the consumers are adults (buying for themselves or their children) they care about professional reviews and price points not opinions of forum communities. 1. PS4 gets 1 dlc before Xbox. Xbox gets all other game dlc 1st. Have fun getting COD maps 1 year later on PS4. 2. You have to pay to play on PS4 and Xbox One. You get to play your free games on X1 after your membership expires. PSN requires you to keep your membership going to play your free games. 3. Halo Master Cheif Collection. 4 Halo games on 1 disc in 1080p. 100+ multiplayer maps and Forge map maker. PS4 has nothing even close to that much content on 1 disc. 4. Netflix has always charged a fee to use it. Never was free. Youtube has always been free if you sign your soul away for a google plus account. 5. I own the Xbox One because of the games that will be released for it. Did not like the list of PS4 games to be released. To be honest both systems are lacking in good games right now. Wait until the end of the year before buying a new console. 6. You are full of $hit. I gameshare with a friend on xbox one. He can use all my games, season passes and dlc while playing on his account. I gameshare stuff from his account as well. Saves money on games. 7. I got the $399 version of Xbox One with no Kinect. Nothing forces me to use the kinect. I saw the Xbox One with the Kinect at Sams Club for $420. 8. Wrong. Microsoft does what they want, fails, then asks customers what they want. True story.

its funny how PS4 players get a remastered game with nothing changed for 50$, but Xbox players get 4 games remastered(halo 2, halo3, halo CE, halo 4) plus beta access to halo 5 and the whole halo movie at 1080p 60FPS for 60$ lol. youtube comes to ps4 in 2014 when the wii and xbox 360 had it in 2005...next gen!!!! we sony fanboys regret to play any game under 1080p 60fps because graphics is better then gameplay!!! (said no one ever) the ps3 was 600$ on release day and topped out at 720p and lower and 30fps max, but we are still the proud dumb**** who bought it!!! we now pay money for our online services but no one seems to care so we just keep getting more and more money!!! we have no exclusives that are worth playing in our console other than uncharted 4, so we pay millions of dollars to activision, so Destiny could have timed exclusives, and people will now have a reason to buy are sh**** a** ps4!!! we know how to steal your money, in more than enough ways . so come on over to ps4 and celebrate the one year microsoft lets us win, and forget that 10 year a** whopping microsoft gave us with the original xbox, xbox arcade, and xbox 360. You kids don't even understand how to do a proper fanboy war, hiding behind anonymous avatars on an Internet forum board. Back in my day we did it properly, the great ZX Spectrum Vs. Commodore 64 war of the mid 80's was fought in the streets.
