YES = Buy all the gear you want.
Or
NO = Earn all the those in game.
Which do you want?
TL;DR: Don't make Destiny a Pay2Win game.
Edit: Cosmetic Purchases are fine based on what community is saying.

It is not cosmetic anymore.

2 AntwortenI am only for transactions if they are purely cosmetic. Let people spend for pretty pixels if they want. But performance gear should be EARNED.
-
DLC maybe - pay to win or sub fee, no. If you need $ set up a Bungie donationation link for community fans to donate to help the company or DLC. Thank You Bungie & continue to be awesome.
-
I wouldn't mind cosmetic micro transactions (ex: armor paints) but I don't think Bungie will incorporate that. The game is expansive enough to have its share of customization.
-
Bearbeitet von darthshadow35: 8/4/2014 9:35:30 PMI'm fine with microtransactions involving aesthetics only.
-
1 AntwortenI agree with cosmetic-changing microtransactions, but that's all.
-
1 AntwortenIf it's anything more than cosmetics I will be disappointed. However Bungie has said that they want you to earn your gear and have stories for them. I doubt they will sell armor and weapons for real money.
-
1 AntwortenBungie already has micro transactions in Destiny; Sony exclusive content. ;)
-
They already said there will be no micro transactions in the game.
-
The end game is about getting better gear really. Buying it would kill any need to play.
-
I don't see Bungie doing something like this because they know the community will tear them up for it. As for cosmetics, as everyone else stated, I'm fine with. Should have added that as a poll option.
-
3 AntwortenAll micro transaction are cosmetic, so I got no clue what you on about. If Bungie are making a trade system.... YES , buy all the gear you want since it will result the same thing by using eBay or any other website.
-
That would destroy this game. Im fine with cosmetic but anything other than that would just ruin this game if people with money to spend would buy stat boosting gear it would be a real bad experience for people who want to earn things by experience not money.
-
I'm not voting because I'm all for cosmetic microtransactions, like a new Ship, or hairdo, or something of that nature. If it doesn't alter your overall stats then I'm okay with it.
-
1 Antworteni don't vote yes or no, im all in if its cosmetic only yes but if it creates an unfair advantage over other players then no
-
1 AntwortenIs a tl;dr necessary? Lol it's like 5 lines. Anywho, I voted no, but I agree with cosmetic changes. Armor skins and ship skins. A pillar of autumn ship skin would be cool.
-
I'll vote no, because I don't agree with being able to buy high end gear. However, I wouldn't mind being able to buy the 'cosmetic' items. Weapon/ghost/ship skins etc.
-
Bungie has a LONG history of making players earn their gear. They have given time windows with no second chances to get that same gear. They have very publicly criticized purchasing items you can earn in game as well. Let's just hope Activision doesn't MAKE Bungie compromise. I want to earn my gear and if I happen to miss some things, I would rather be happy for the lucky dudes who got theirs. I want to make my characters my own, I don't want everyone wearing the same items.
-
1 AntwortenLow quality gear leads to wanting more. Wanting more leads to micro transactions. Micro transactions lead to the Dark Side.
-
They've already stated that they're not going to let people "Pay for Power".
-
No microtransactions at all... None... Hate that cap...
-
9 AntwortenWhat about purchasing and XP booster? I wouldn't mind that
-
I voted no. But since this is the only game i buy this Year iT schould be yes?:) What to do with all the money not spend :p OW and for ppl with not much Time iT would be great if one could buy Some armor and weapons.
-
6 AntwortenBungie already said no micro transactions
-
I don't mind as long as it is for purely aesthetic items, but since it's such a slippery slope, best just to say no.
