Brothers and Sons YouTube Copyright Dispute Over Destiny
Is anyone else having this problem? Brothers and Sons are claiming to own Destiny content I've posted on YouTube, and I'm having to dispute it! It is only for segments where I appear in orbit.

This "Brother and Sons" have claimed Assassin's Creed footage, and now Destiny footage. They assault new users or users not linked with a network. And I've discovered all of this only recently. Since receiving the claim.

Bungie need to do something about it if they are not representing them because it's damaging sales. It has put me off buying two copies of the game, times are hard, and if I can't use YouTube to make the £90 back, I really have to consider another Youtube friendly title.

The same thing happened to me, although it was also during the prologue ending cutscene, as well as any scenes in orbit. It says the audiovisual content was administered by "Brothers and Sons." Doesn't look like it has any negative effects, although I don't monetize videos, so it may interfere with that. Just curious because I hadn't heard of them before.

I have some videos up underneath the channel name 'DuskGamingEntertainment' and I haven't had anything like this, though I am worried. My first few videos just recorded me playing the beta almost nonstop, so there are some instances of me being in orbit...

1 AntwortenYou said you contacted Bungie through Twitter and that is a good start. I can't really say I have any way to help you, but bogus copyright claims infuriate me to no end, so please take this post as my support. Please do update this thread with whatever the outcome is.
