This game would have been 10 times better if it was made for next gen and not being held back by last gen.Im not going to be playing this game for 10 years on my ps4. Bungie always tried to push the power of the systems with halo. They took so long making this game on ps3 and 360 that it spewed over to next gen.
Edited: i apologize. Im new to bungie forums and forums in general and hearing all these bad things being said about this game in the forums gets me angry. But when i played this beta i had so much fun.

4 AntwortenIt's funny reading this kind of comment. Because console gamers always mock PC elitist for being...elitist and suddenly with the release of PS4 and XB1 some people are blaming last gen for withholding the potential graphical power of the games for the latest system.

3 AntwortenPeople that voted true are financial wizards need to go back to math class. The only reason why Destiny got the huge budget that made this game so awesome is because of "last gen". Do you people do math? Total est. budget = $500,000,000 Price per game = $60 retail That means they would need to sell about 8.6 million copies just to break even. NO PROFIT TO PUT TOWARDS DESTINY 2! To make a profit and earn enough for DESTINY 2 they would need to sell 17.5 million copies. Total est. PS4 and XB1 install base = 14,500,000 users. Total est "Last Gen" install base = 185,000,000 users. Call of Duty 4 sold about 30 million copies. Out of 185 million console owners only 30 million bought COD. Thats a 17%-18% penetration rate. COD? Only 18%? For this game to be a next gen exclusive we would need a 125% penetration rate. You're fooling yourself if you think that's attainable.

3 AntwortenGotta consider that the market on 360 and PS3 is the market that's gonna have the biggest sales because of the fact that everybody owns those consoles. Those are gonna be the ones picking up the profit and justifying the HUGE budget. But yeah it's undeniable the game would be better for new gen only, I'm actually trying to go out of my way to buy games on day one that are next gen only as way of supporting the market for new gen only games.

2 Antwortenso true ps3 and 360 guys just need to save up their cash for a month or two(if that lol) and go next gen. and to go along with that devs need to stop even considering developing crap for old gen systems. I thought that by now developers would just focus on next gen systems but i guess i have to wait for 2015 for that to happen :(

1 AntwortenConsole gaming is held back by the people at sony and microsoft who wont try and match the current pc specs for console gaming! Pc will always have the edge but they could of at least built the consoles from the current spec pcs at the time! Now us gamers suffer and so do pc owners as they get ports of our underpar games
