I played the Devil's Lair co-op match-made mission yesterday with a friend and a third person the game found and it took us an hour and 35 minutes to complete it, and this was on Normal. I shutter to to think what it would have been like on Hard.
I do not want match-made games that last an hour and a half and consist mostly of tedium as we fire a gazillon rounds into some giant tank thingy or some floating ball thingy trying to wear it down one bullet at a time.
Those kinds of enemies make sense for public events where there can be a dozen or more people working to take something down, but three people against such enemies is a joke.
Is there something I'm missing here? If this were not the beta and people could rank up higher than 8 would we have the firepower to take down these uber enemies in an acceptable amount of time?

20-30 min on hard bruh I guess you and your friends suck.
-
It's health bar is a bit big. just so long as nobody makes a mistake in that time frame everythings ok... I don't want to imagine how hard raids are...
-
I've played through several times on Hard and usually takes no longer than 35-45 minutes. I might die once if I do something stupid. I wish people would stop blaming Bungie for their being bad at games.

2 AntwortenI did it on my own in 50 minutes with one death, much faster with a team... My only complaint is that the devil walker is easy and takes too long...
-
I've played it on hard and to me it was easy lol
-
How have you managed to get to lvl 8 and avoid having ANY uncommon weapons? Or even a better cloak? That might be one of your problems there. Not the cloak obviously...
-
Hard mode only takes me and 2 randoms like 30-45 mins
-
Lol wut? It shouldn't take you nearly that long even on hard mode.
-
Took me and another friend an hour to defeat that tank on hard mode.
-
I beat the Devil's Lair strike on the hard option without dying a single time. There's a strategy to that run that I have mastered.
-
First time through it took me and a couple of randoms about 40 min. now its a 25 min breeze. Theres no way it should take you that long. A single individual can beat it faster than that.

1 AntwortenYou should not buy this game because you are not good. Wait for Disney Infinity 2 to come out , more your speed.

I didn't find it that hard at all, simply time-consuming. It can be done easily in probably 15-20 Minutes if you're in a fireteam of 3 Friends and coordinate everything. Even if you're alone and have two randoms, the Devil Walker is the only thing that should cause you any issues. I was going through it on my second character (Level 6 Hunter at the time) and my two allies, a Level 7 Hunter and Warlock, were both equally idiotic. By the time the Walker was dead, I had perhaps 20+ Revives on them; EACH. It wasn't hard though, just took longer than I would hope.

How did it take you an hour and a half to beat the Devil's Lair? I've always been able to get through it with my friends in 40-50 minutes. When the final game comes out, don't play the Raids. Rumor has it that it'll take a few hours just to beat one Raid.

40 minutes on hard, it's all about the headshots!!
-
I've ran it on hard several times. I remember my first time playing it though. It was tough. But like most RPGs, better gear and stuff helps.
-
2 Antwortenor three unskilled players against an enemy like that is a joke seriously if you look at the average of the destiny community im pretty sure you'd see how easy it was for most players
-
Beat it first time with a random group.
-
you....are....just....shit
-
Yeah I'd like all strikes to be a challenge with equal rewards. Hard took us around 30 minutes with 2 random matchmade Guardians.
-
I beat it in about 30 minutes with random players.
-
Wow what were you using. Nerf guns or something
-
Honestly it took me and another random about 45 minutes to an hour, and the devil walker was really the most challenging part. I don't see the problem, it's been too long since a game has had tough and challenging bosses to fight, I found it enjoyable.
-
Took me, a friend, and a random about 20 minutes. The hardest part about it is the Devil Walker. Even that isn't all that challenging. You just get focused on it, get a little tunnel vision, and all of a sudden a captain is two feet away from you. xD

Bearbeitet von BLK Rhino5889: 7/26/2014 6:30:24 PMIf you want to take down the bosses faster find, buy, or earn a better gun and stop sucking all your life its all strategy if you work together it's not that long in fact I think it was too easy

When they thought up the Strikes. They said they'd be challenges that would take an hour or so to complete cause they want to give us a challenge and that Devil Walker and what's his face Prime are fun to fight because of the challenge. I personally find it fun and something to do. Raids are so hard six man fire team has to do it all together and it's on Hard strikes don't have a hard difficulty on beta and probably not full game either.
